I emailed already within a few hours of receiving the product stating that it did not open and the lever on the side was broken. I immediately reached out to which I received no reply. I feel like this is a scam as clearly there is no customer service.
So I’m stuck with a broken suitcase that I paid over $300.

You could improve by following the ideals you put forth. We bought luggage, the first time we went to use it, we were kit allowed the carry one on the plane due to their size.
We were told this would not be a problem. The 100 day return is only valid if you don’t use it? How would you know of you liked it, if it worked etc.. if you did t try it. So we are stuck with luggage we cannot use. We bought monos, better quality, better service and it fit.
