The only thing I would do different is order stain samples as picture did not fully align with cabinets I was trying to match. That said, the variance in the cabinets and shelving provides a nice contrast-so all in all we are very pleased!

Such a statement piece! The look of a real beam mantle Completely changed the look and vibe of our living room! Please have patience while waiting for your piece to arrive. It IS a custom order, not mas produced. It even has the smell of the stain used. I purchased the “distressed “ option since my decor is a mix of modern-traditional with a dash of Farmhouse. The only suggestion would be to be ready with some very thin shims. I used fine washers behind the bracket and screw which was enough to counter walls in our older home that were not perfectly vertical.

The cleat system makes this a breeze to install, and even though my walls and trim aren’t repainted yet because we just moved in, it still manages to look amazing. Definitely worth the wait! Having said that, I will urge caution about the drywall anchors they provided. The anchors were the wrong size for the screws. Argh!!!
