This kit was absolutely pure joy to put together. To anyone looking to get one of these kits I will say, this kit takes time and patience to put together. There is a lot of glue involved. I recommend CA glue with a can of activator to speed things along. Also, test fit before gluing. I have never put together a kit like this before. It took me approximately 10 hours in 3 sessions to complete it. The kit is extremely well made.

Loved this kit!!! The snap-together format made it a breeze to complete in just a few days depending on how long you sit with it. And it looks absolutely adorable completed and lit up. One tip: be sure that the electric “touch pad” lines up with the power button symbol on the top side of the floor. That’s the only part that had me scratching my head. However, mine is misaligned and it still works perfectly so not a big deal!! 10/10 recommend

I think is a little bit expensive, but I had a lot of fun building it. The only think I can't figure it out was the light switch, it didn't work for me, at the end and I had to left the part where you light on outside. For the most part it is very beautitul and very fun to make.

This was my first book nook, so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect—but I was pleasantly surprised! The packaging was excellent, and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I did run into a few minor challenges with the smaller pieces, but that’s mostly due to my big fingers rather than any fault in the design. The end result is absolutely amazing, and I’m already planning to get a second one!

I messed up the doors lock/unlock mechanism initially. I think I got some glue where it didn’t belong but it’s working now. Love the way you incorporated the sticky strip lighting. It makes the interior of the sub look really good.

These are absolutely stunning!! The detail is incredible and the lighting is just right. The instructions were clear and simple to understand. I had no issues with any damaged pieces. Some of the small pieces can be a challenge to glue, but it's just takes practice and a steady hand. The end result is just brilliant. Can't wait to purchase my next one 😊⛩️🇯🇵

Building this kit was so fun. It’s very beautiful and reminds me of my trip to Kyoto. It took about 5-6 hours to complete. At first I thought it would be difficult but it wasn’t. The kit had everything needed to complete it including extra pieces (which I didn’t need). I can’t wait to build my next book nook.

This was my first Book Nook and I loved assembling it. I found the instructions excellent and the inclusion of many extras of the more delicate pieces, gave me confidence that any breakages could be fixed or replaced at no charge. The existence of the Mystery pieces numbered 280 had me checking the instructions several times to see where they go. Very accurate pieces that fit together perfectly. Best to use a sharp blade knife on the back of the pieces to cut/ break them from the sheet. Used tweezers to apply glue when required. Instructions are very good with a few minor errors. ie step 229 where piece 277 can go either way as it is printed on both sides however to the top lug is offset and will not mate with piece 234. Step 284 the pieces are 123 not 122. Step 304 the pieces are 214 not 215. What do you do with pieces 280 are th...

Great booknook. Fireplace looks great, motion sensor works exactly as it should, turning on the lights when I walk in the room. Openings at top of enclosure cast light onto shelf above. Anavrin instructions are VERY good, better than others I've done. Musicbox mech works, but is pointless without method of turning it on/off without having to wind it every time. Still, I recommend this kit.

So fun to do! High quality pieces that snapped together perfectly, some extra pieces were also included but I didn’t need to use them. They have great YouTube videos if you’re a visual learner but the instructions in the booklet were step by step and easy to follow. I’ll be ordering another one for sure. Highly recommend.

Loved the final product. Found it frustrating to build because the instruction manual didn’t line up at all with the pieces on the balsa wood sheets, and for each step forward, one had to look at each parts sheet to find the part. The wiring was also difficult. It was very hard to get the wires into the configurations shown in the instruction manual so that the walls would fit together properly. Again a great final product, frustrating to build, but worth it.

I think it took me a little longer than the “average” time noted in the instruction book. But I really enjoyed the experience. The picture I shared shows a different product that was very difficult and much more frustrating to build. I think I would definitely enjoy building another of your products! Well done! 👍

This kit is fantastic! It’s incredibly realistic, detailed, and subtle. A long but successful project. I'm impressed at the precision of the fit between pieces. With just a few exceptions everything went together precisely with no ajustments needed. Instructions are mostly clear (a few errors that are easily self corrected). Gluing in some spots definitely is needed (and glue is supplied, contrary to the statement in the description. I’m not done yet, but I love it. The pieces are sturdy and the details are gorgeous.. the instructions are really clear. If I wanted to nitpick, the only thing negative I can say about this kit is that the stickers doesn’t adhere well on round edges, like the drums. Nothing that a bit of glue won’t fix however.

This little Hanok Bakery is absolutely adorable. It was fun to put together. Not too hard but not too easy. It was challenging enough to keep me going but not so challenging that I wanted to quit. Although the roof was a little tedious. My daughter lives in South Korea and I was blessed to be able to go visit her so I have a genuine appreciation for the country and its culture. I would recommend this kit to everyone interested.

Sure there are alot of pieces but the instructions are wonderful and make putting together the kit easy. Lighting is simple to do as most of it are sticky strips of LED lights. The kit is expensive but the quality of wood and printing, the ease of construction and final product make it work the money.

In 2024 we travelled to Thailand and actually stayed in the heart of Chinatown in Yaowarat Road. Your book noon has such attention to detail it was not just the fun associated with building the model, but the memories that came flooding back and we were even able to associate with the signs and names we also encountered during the many walks we undertook.
