I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Lex & Roses.
I ordered a 50 stem bouquet days in advance for my mother’s birthday and paid $270 for delivery to my parents home. The flowers NEVER arrived.
What makes this even more frustrating is that my husband has ordered from Lex & Roses at least 8 times and has spent a significant amount of money with this company. While we’ve experienced late deliveries before, we’ve never had an order simply not show up with no explanation!
When we called to find out what happened, the first person who answered didn’t seem to know how to handle the situation. We were then connected with the delivery driver, who told us, “I’ve had a busy day.” Finally, a woman stepped in and assured us that the bouquet would still be delivered that evening and that our $270 charge would be refunded.
By that point, my mom was already out celebrating her birthday at a late dinner. To make matters worse, the flowers still NEVER arrived that night, and the refund was NEVER processed.
The next morning, we had to call again. We were once again promised a refund and were told that the driver had “tried to deliver.” That explanation simply isn’t true. My parents live in a gated community, and security contacts me whenever a visitor arrives. No delivery attempt was ever made.
I waited several days to give Lex & Roses the opportunity to make things right, but they never followed through. I ultimately had to dispute the charge with my credit card company.
It’s unfortunate because we were repeat customers who genuinely wanted to support this business. However, it seems that as the company grew, customer service and fulfillment have suffered. Failing to deliver flowers on someone’s birthday, providing conflicting explanations, and not issuing a promised refund is unacceptable.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience
