These gas jugs are a huge improvement over the modern “spill-proof” cans I have been using for the past five years. I absolutely love the design and function of these. In many ways it is way better than the VP Racing jug that I have had for years that leaks every time I used it. I do have one suggestion that would put yours over the top: On the Ford platforms, and possibly other makes as well, the nozzle does not fit into the opening of the capless fuel fill. This requires you to use a funnel to fill the car with fuel, and really takes away from the benefits of the auto shut off design making it way more awkw...

Finally someone figured out how to make a tough, leakproof fuel container. Those two O-rings in the filler tube connections make this jug better than anything on the market. After filling, I laid the jug on its side and had no leaks. As a tip...you show using wrenches to tighten these connections. You should caution people to tighten these until you feel some resistance and NOT to tighten them too much as you could break the plastic or strip the threads. i purchased some so called jerry cans caved in on it self the first use was told that i needed to have it part way open ethanol fuel absorbs water when exposed to air dont want water in my fuel they are only good to store fuel and empty completely the tuff jug was shown to me by a friend the automatic stop was neat and clean no spills just put 10 gls. in my mower no spill and very fast filling great product someone did there homework would recommend these to anyone looking for a long lastin...

I recently found the Tuff Jug line of products which made me get rid of my decades old horrible awfully designed gas jugs, all 4 of them (2 5's, 1 2.5 and one 1.5). They have been replaced with Purple and Hot Pink 5's a Blue 2.5 and a White 1.25 little baby Tuff. I also bought a Spout Adapter to use fueling modern cars. i didn't know what jugs I had on my jet ski trailer, I bought them a long time ago when california changed the law and I needed the dry break style tops.
