I bought two 5 gallon containers to take up to the lake for the jet ski. 10 gallons seems to be just enough for a fun weekend with the kids. I tried the ripper cap but it did not work on the jet ski. The slight angle plus the chain made it so gasoline leaked. But, because I'm a local, they let me drop in and swap out the ripper cap for the auto-stop nozzle. And let me just say -- I don't know how fast the ripper cap is but the auto-stop nozzle is quick! Super easy to use, versatile angles, and f...

A while to get them but man, do they work great I don’t have gas and oil all over my can and all over my stuff. It just fills the tank.

Much better than my previous fuel can. The internal vent makes it a nice clean pour, also love the fact the cap comes with a plug so the nozzle isnt sticking out the bed on longer road trips.

Love the jug and the spout. I wish the ripper was in stock as I have a ZTR with a 5.5 gallon tank. My only gripe is the sealing washers on the spout and cap. The flat washers on the storage cap and the spout are prone to deformation and leaking. I immediately replaced these with Viton O-rings. Works much better and seals without leaking. 1 3/16ā€ ID 1 7/16ā€ OD.

I got them so that I can use all of the discounts I get when filling up. My car only takes 15 gallons so I lose $20.00 worth of discounts at every fill up. Now with gas prices so high I try to save as much as possible.

Look the same but one is certified (2-1/2 gal.) for fuel but 5 gal. is not. Humm. Look and seemed made out of the same material. May be just the volume of each or the tanks? Love them and can’t wait to use them. 2-1/2 gal. for gasoline and other one not sure yet!!

Had a minor leaking issue out of the cap at first. Contacted Tuff Jugs and was sent new caps immediately that worked great. Thank you much. These will be perfect for trips out west where 93 gas isn't an option at all gass stations.

When I tell you I have tried about every safety style gas can on the market, I mean every style. I have tried gas cans with all styles of spouts from Menards, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Gas spots.com, etc. They all leak or have a flaw when trying to fill my mowers. Spout leaks when tipped to high, bad, seals, handle in wrong position. The list goes on and on. My recent venture before Tuff Jugs was a gas can from Menards that the spout broke on the 3rd fill of my gas mower. I gave Tuff Jugs a t...

Reviewer's green 2.5 Gallon Jug on a concrete floor next to a string trimmer and a chainsaw, showing its use for two-stroke engines.
Jonathan G.Verified
Do a lot of two stroke work, as in buying and fixing them up. I always hate trying to fill the tanks on these things because conventional cans make such a mess now. What surprised me the most was the build quality of the caps and usage of gaskets for the spouts and the container seal itself. I am glad I got the two fives in addition to the 2.5. my only complaint is that they were out of the stubby quick pour guy for ATVs and vertical pours.. easily worth the little bit extra per can. I als...

Barry K.Verified
Added a 1 inch female and a 3/4 inch male PVC pipe fitting to either side of the jug. Now l can keep the caps with me all the time, won't get lost or misplaced and switch them as I need to. Maybe you could have this done in the injection mold press and see what you think of it. Just a thought.
