These are extremely comfy shoes, and nicely waterproof. Not good for slippery surfaces like mud or ice, but perfect for being out in the rain. The size was slightly on the large size compared to other Hobibear shoes which are apparently of the same dimensions, but an extra pair of socks on top of my toe socks has done the trick. I wish the tongue was a little longer, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise great shoe.

These are brilliant for those of us who have wider feet due to bunion issues - please remember to order arch support orthopaedic insoles ,,, so you can have comfortable shock absorption as an additional benefit. This was recommended by my doctor when he inspected these shoes. You can order them online and they are important to relieve stress on your feet - you’ll be pleased with your purchase once you have these in place.

I really love my Hobibear shoes! they are very comfortable and my toes have lots of room to spread out. I had to size up though - I am normally a UK size 8, but had to order a size 9 as my heels were rubbing on the back of the shoe. I love the colour and the quality is excellent, and with so many different styles to choose from I can't wait to get my next pair!

These shoes have been absolutely amazing. I really don’t know what to expect with the price being so low but they’ve been great! Super comfortable and flexible. I don’t really think I’d see a difference until I tried wearing some Reeboks that I own and my feet felt super crammed into them and it was terribly uncomfortable. I know own 3 pair and will probably buy more. At this price point why wouldn’t I?

The shoes are great. It shows from my photos they have already been worn, so this is a proper review not just based on how they look. They are soft and I love the zero drop sole, because it is not too thin so the foot has support, but a proper one, without extra "heel". They are comfortable to wear and also look lovely. I am very pleased with this purchase and started looking in their women's department for a similar model for me 🙂

Great pair of boots, just what I was looking for while walking the dog through wet grass and muddy fields, warm, comfortable and kinda waterproof, not sure how they'd fair in a downpour, but I'm happy with them, well done hobibear, love the fact that they have a wide toe box and zero drop on the heel/toe. Can't comment on longevity, only had them for 3 weeks, but if their shoes are anything to go by, which I use for work every day, they should last the distance :-)

Very comfortable...my toes have a lot of room. I can slip them on and pull the laces and it never feels like it'll fall off. I had to be very intentional about the size. I recommend you measure your feet (L and W) to make sure, because the website size is much smaller than I normally wear.

These feel really good quality. Sturdy and seem to be waterproof. Easy to get on and off, just have to straighten the tongue when slipped on. Have walked on pavements, mud and grass. Walked in rain today and still dry. Only downside was the time waiting for delivery from China. I ordered 5.5 as I am normally UK 5.5 to 6. They came up larger than expected so asked to exchange for a UK5 which fit beautifully. I am considering buying a trainer-like pair now.

I cured myself of long-term plantar fasciitis through exercises and wearing barefoot shoes. Out of all the brands I have tried, I have found Hobibear shoes to be the best fit for me - plenty of room at the toes, just enough of a cushion on the sole (with the option of removing the insole if you prefer), and zero drop so the heel is at the same level as the forefoot. Great boots, super comfortable and a great colour - just watch the sizing. These are EU 39, but are down as UK 5 on the website - they are definitely a UK 5.5, however. So just keep an eye on the sizing, but once you've found the right ones for you, you will be delighted with them!

Fabulous to be able to stay in wide toe box barefoots through the winter! Don’t expect hiking boots grip - your bare feet don’t have that either! But incredible to stay warm and dry regardless of conditions and still get all the benefits of barefoot shoes - at a reasonable price. Would love to know ethos behind company - and that conditions for Hobibear workers are good - not like some others in China.

bought for my young adult son; grateful they came in adult UK size 13. He had been wearing a different brand of barefoot shoes all summer so it was a relief to hear him say these were just as comfortable and as wide. He particularly loves that with elastic laces the boots are slip on and just ties the laces when he wants the fit to be less loose. He said they are warm and waterproof too.
