We weren’t sure what to expect from the masongenie when we ordered it so when it got here I threw some strawberries and lettuce in mason jars ran the masongenie and opened them a week later and the strawberries were still firm and perfect, the lettuce was crisp and fresh as well. Great product.

I have been using my genie everyday. I’m glad to see my dehydrated goods have a more lasting environment, my leftovers get put into jars and are lasting longer and even hard boiled eggs after peeling do do well. It is nice that the entire fridge doesn’t smell like rotten eggs! I see a new use every day!

I had been wanting to make this purchase for a while and now I'm so upset that I waited so long! I love the Mason Genie! The seal is airtight and I have full faith that my products' shelf life is being extended. I was a little sad when I thought that the Genie didn't work on large mouth mason jars, but when I saw the video showing that the bottom twists off for use with large mouth masons, I fell in love even more!! This is an absolutely amazing product and I am using it to seal small amounts of veg for my bearded dragon who only has some veg every 3 days or so. I’m yet to see what the life span of these veggies are but so far they have kept fresh for a week.

Love it! Highly recommend! I tried a different brand when I was first starting out and had problems with it sealing, so I bought a masongenie and voila! No more problems...except when I recently (not thinking) used it to seal a mason jar of creamed honey and it sucked it up into the genie and all over the outside of the jar...just wasn't thinking and popped it on (automatic: mason jar- seal it).
