NEWBIE USER CONFESSION 🤭...At first I didn't realize there was an adapter on the Mason Genie, so I was disappointed when I tried to vacuum a wide mouth jar and it didn't fit. SO...when I found out you just twist off the bottom portion, I LOVE IT! So easy, just cover the top of your jar, push the button and wait until it stops! I had bought 2 systems and I am so glad, now I can get an assembly line going! 😁

I bought the Mason Genie last Fall and the first day I used it was November 11, 2025. I made note of the date in order to test the longevity of the seal. I put a whole bag of brown sugar into two 1L mason jars and a can of Knorr's chicken powder stock in a 500ml. Today is March 1, 2026 and I just checked them. I love this little wonder. I have saved avocado for three days and it stays green. Likewise strawberries, chopped lettuce, pinto beans, grains and nuts just in the last week. My very first attempt, using a large pickle jar was unsuccessful. Although the Genie started up and ran a minute or so, it didn't seal. It worked GREAT on the Ball Mason jars I bought though. One suggestion - I appreciated the chalk-top lids you included. Maybe consider adding a chalk pen? Overall, it's a great product!
