Mason Genie works great. Quick and easy. Regular mouth and Wide mouth are important and Genie works for both. Love that its rechargeable so no batteries needed and charge time seems to be good. I haven't had a problem with low battery at all. My pantry shelfs are looking nice and full and organized.

I have a farm off the west coast of Canada so we do a lot of preserving and storage of produce. For my own use, this Mason Genie device has been SO useful. I live on Galiano Island so often purchase soft fruits which are difficult to keep with them spoiling in the fridge. By using Mason jars and simply sealing them using the Mason Genie they will keep more than twice as long! Highly recommend. Kind regards, Henny

Came in the mail just in time and I didn't even know I needed it. The day after it showed up I was making al pastor and had too many Guajillo peppers. First thought was, what a waste. Followed shortly by, Oh wait. Grabbed the Genie, sat it on top and turned it on. 30 seconds later no more worry. It sealed great and is still sealed after, I guess, a month. Guess I could have dropped a silica pack in there. We are in the South after all.

I’ve sealed both regular and large mouth jars, excellent seal, the only time I didn’t get a seal is when I had a faulty cap. Occasionally, it’s hard to pull the vacuum sealer off once it’s sealed the lid, but that could just be me being weak. Lol I have to call in “muscles. “

Avocados will start to brown in minutes. If you have multiple, they all ripen at the same time. I was tired of throwing them away. I threw a couple peeled ones in a jar. 3 days later they were still green! I also have a mango tree that's in full production. My chopped mangos stay fresh for weeks. Love my mason genie!!

I totally love my Mason Genie!! Look what I discovered yesterday... I put my coffee in a mason jar, sealed it w/ the mason genie and put the jar in the bag for labelling in my pantry!! This little gadget is so great! I was already storing fresh berries in mason jars, but the vacuum seal adds even more time in the fridge! And in case anyone was wondering, they do work with the old half gallon jars too. I wasn't sure if the handle would get in the way, but it still seals. Shown here with leftover pie filling, blueberries, kale and marshmallows . Fully recommend! I'm using it constantly.
