This is a great kitchen tool. Our fresh unwashed berries last two to three weeks in the refrigerator when using the vacuum sealer. I believe it is a kitchen must.

The fist time I used it, I put a cut up green pepper in the sealed jar. Waiting for it to go bad, it didn’t. I finally ate it two weeks after putting the partially wilted green pepper in the sealed jar. It was perfect. Crunchy and fresh. If I had stored it in a ziplock baggie like I usually did, it would have been slimy and probably moldy. I would have thrown it away. Thank you!

I love the Mason Genie Vacuum Sealer Kit so much that I purchased a second kit for our daughter! Good bye plastic, good bye bugs, good bye spilled messes. Couldn't recommend this more highly!

The device works great - you can add to the certainty of the seal by putting a dab of olive oil on your finger and wiping around the rubber seal on the lid before you use the device

when I first received mine it worked only once. I contacted customer service.We ran a few test still no luck .They send one out to replace it.arrived in a few days.Just tossed the junk in the trash and the new one is working fine. Thank you for excellent customer service

This is the best device anyone has ever come up with. So easy to use and keeps whatever we put in the mason jars fresh. Going to put all my nuts into these as I've noticed keeping in their bags makes the lose flavor.

I really like the Mason Genie! It seals jars easily. I didn't get the lid opener by mistake but customer service was terrific & they sent one right out to me! I really recommend Mason Genie!

I enjoy using the genie.. only difficulty I’ve experienced is when removing sealer from jar when finished, I am leery of removing seal as well. Is there a “good, easy” way to remove when it’s finished.. ie. Twisting or lifting straight up? Thanks.. I have arthritic hands, and this is the hard part for me. Thanks!

The Mason Genie was simple to learn to use and I am hoping that I waste a lot less fresh produce. The only downside has been that it doesn’t work with Gem jars (a staple of the Canadian canning scene for decades). The only improvement would be an adapter for Gem jars/lids. Very happy with this purchase so far!

Have spinach, red leaf lettuce, romaine and celery all in the large mason jars. For my fruit I have blueberries that are 5 weeks old and still good as new then I just got some raspberries and put them in a jar. Love it produce is so fresh it's amazing.

The funnel works so well to catch everything you pour into the Mason jars. Wide funnel which is great so anything bouncing doesn't end up on the counter or floor . Highly recommend it

I used to throw out fruits and veggies on a regular basis as they would spoil before I could get to them. Spoilage is a thing of the past since I started using madon jars and the Mason Genie to store them. I bit more prep work required, but well worth it.

I loved my Genie. Only one problem, when it seals, it's hard to remove at times. I gave one to my daughter and granddaughter, who had this on her list!

It is so quick and easy to use. I was looking for more jars so I could transfer rice, beans, broccoli and many other items and seal in their freshness! I’m a believer and it’s not a gimmick!

I made a blend of avocado and chick peas, with savory spices. Avocado is notorious for turning brown. Putting it in a mason jar and using the Mason Genie has kept my blend bright green for over a week. The Genie is a champion kitchen tool!

I love the way it seals the lids on. I gave my mother one for Christmas. She should be should’ve got it by now. I live in Texas. She lives in Oregon. I got my kit and was very excited to use it. I put up a half dozen or so jars of pasta and things like that the very first day super easy to use and lots of fun.

Our daughter recommended this to us for storage. I was using reusable plastic lids with silicon seals, almost impossible for me to open when closed tightly. The Mason Genie works great, and with the lid lifter I don't need to ask for help. The unit and lids live conveniently in the drawer with all my wraps, so I can grab & use. I wish the chalkboard lids were less expensive, I am using Ball lids with an erasable, washable chalkboard label instead.

Best thing I have purchased in a very long time. The instructions are clear and I already am eating my first fermented carrots. I am hooked on the taste! The kit came with all the necessary components to start right away. Next batch will be fermented red onions

The Mason Genie is perfect for dry goods like dried fruit, nuts, rice, beans, and flour. It makes filling mason jars fast, clean, and effortless—no spills or mess. Simple design, sturdy, and incredibly useful. I just wish they made one for liquids too. Highly recommend for anyone organizing or storing dry foods!

I have been using mason jars for food storage for years in my cabinets, fridge and freezer. This has really been great because I don’t need to use the rings all the time! Love it!

This is a great system for keeping your food fresh. I was wondering about how long it would hold its charge and it seems fine. It’s only been weeks but you can put the device away in a drawer and pull it out days later to use.

Love that it works with different sized jars and I’m able to recycle jars instead of tossing them. I haven’t had the chance to do my pantry yet but plan to have it organized soon

I make borscht to have at lunch. Now that I have Mason Genie, I can make a larger batch, divide it up and seal it so I won’t have to eat It within 5 days. This is great!

Works great! I’m surprised to see how much it helps prolong shelf life (even if jars are still stored in the fridge) especially for greens, herbs like cilantro, etc. Would definitely recommend!

I love this sealer. It is perfect. I had another one that does work like this one. This one is hard to remove because it seals with a punch. Love it.......Thank You....I am putting all my food items in jars and sealing them.........Wish everyone would do this. Saving lots of food for us even now. Thank You Thank You!!!

Great opener that doesn't ruin the lids. It took a hot minute to learn how to use correctly (imprinted logo is on the underside) but it's been smooth sailing since!

The Mason Genie worked just as described! My pantry is organized and safe from going stale. The wide mouth funnel is a must for getting everything into the jar without a mess.

works fine. Right size for all jars and is easy to dump large quantities (wheat berries) as well. Sits on the jar with ease and is very easy to clean.

I was skeptical but decided to give it a try. It works as advertised and it is convenient. No large appliance to set up to seal a jar quickly. Happy with my purchase.

I gave 2 as gifts and kept one. I wish that the funnel came with each Genie, but only one came in the package. I used my first attempt for brown sugar. It worked great.

I have always stored everything in the modular mates system from Tupperware, I mean everything!! After 30+ years, I switched over to storing in mason jars. It’s looks cleaner and more organized. The mason genie ensured the contents stay fresh indefinitely just by sealing after using contents of the jar. Best $$ spent!!

Haven't gotten to use it a lot yet but I did an experiment with some chopped iceberg lettuce and it was crisp and fresh after almost two weeks in the frig.

Love the whole idea of this tool. Ease of operation and the quality of it's construction. However, I find it difficult to remove after the vacuum sealing is complete, might want to investigate that issue.

So nice to have something that will vac and seal w/o hauling out the "big guns" when it's only a few jars needing sealing. Great idea in action. Thank you!!!
