I’ve used it twice now. It has already proved itself to be a great purchase!!! First time I had shredded cabbage and some mushrooms that needed to be eaten but I wasn’t ready to use them yet. I love my Mason Genie! I have romaine salad stored in a sealed jar for more than a week and it’s still fresh! A sliced avocado remained green in a sealed jar. My coffee smells just opened fresh after 2 weeks. Fresh strawberries still fresh after one week in a sealed jar. I could go on and on! My MasonGenie has been a wonderful addition to my kitchen. It's easy to use and adds weeks to food that usually goes bad in days. I have used it for the last 3 weeks on one charge. I use this for fruit. It normally takes me forever to get around to eating fresh fruit, to the point that it begins to mould. This has really helped cutting how much fruit I waste due to mould. Some people would be like, "Why not just have frozen?" I do, mostly in the winter months when fresh, local fruit isn't available as often. Having jars of mixed fruit has also helped me portion out my servings. Absolutely love my Mason Genie!!!!!

We love both sealers. The mini has made life easier with vacuum bags with a valve. I'm pretty happy with the large mason genie as well. I have used it to seal jars of dried herbs and spices and even a jar of peaches that will be eaten within a few days. The pens have been handy for labeling food bags that won't be used permanently like pre-packaged chicken that is going into a larger vacuum bag or freezer bag.
