It is quite nice to be able to slow down the use of plastic wrap, etc. It always seems like a waste of money. I just slip whatever in a mason jar, use the genie and either refrigerate or put in a cupboard. Thank you

I purchased one of these earlier and love how well it works. I decided to get a 2nd one as a gift for my daughter for her birthday. I know she will use it a lot!

I have used other jar vacuum sealer units before most of which were frustratingly awkward to use or in attempting to remove the unit after sealing the lid would pop off. The Masongenie is quick, stops when it is done, and is cordless. Makes sealing all my dehydrated fruits so much easier.

Love it!! I'm sealing my beans and many dry good items. Also sealing the freeze dried foods. I just ordered another one to help keep up with the storage. I would definitely recommend!

I have many mason jars and decided to put them to use instead of getting rid of them. I have stored dry goods, like beans and rice in them so far, and it seems to work well. I will be trying it on fresh produce next.

It did better once I called for assistance. The lids kept coming un-sealed with fresh vegetables. I used paper towels on bottom of jar and on top and also used jar ring and they were sealed when I re-opened them.

GEtting away from plastic storage had become my goal when I saw an ad for the Mason Genie. I ordered it immediately. Fortunately, I had lots of mason jars in all sizes, so didn't have that expense. It works to well. I love it, and have recommended it to a lot of people.

Thank you so much for helping me on the vacuum sealer issue. I have been very happy with the results. It very refreshing to see a company stand behind there products. I am know a very loyal customer of your company.

Sorry for the delay response . I really like it . However I am not sure if I am not doing something right because I had several jars that just wouldn’t seal . Other wise it worked well to seal the pesto . I wish you could use it on canning items you have to use a hot bath for but after reading found out you can’t . Maybe that would be something Mason genie could work on . I would also buy ur hand held but has to wait for a while til I have the spare money to purchase . Thank you Mary Christy

I was using something similar that someone had given me but I was looking for more of them. I was putting the date on them so that I’d remember when I had to use them by.

Had a lot of stuff in the freezer that didn’t need to be there - flour, cornmeal, nuts -so much there was hardly room for food. Now it’s all vacuum packed & in the pantry where it belongs. Room in my freezer now for frozen food. Love it.

I have enjoyed the results of using my Mason Genie so far. I have used it so many times. It is easy to use, and really keeps my food fresh

I like it very much!! Haven't used it a lot yet. Putting in new kitchen cupboards so when setting the new ones up is when I will really get to using it. Live the lids I can write on.

It works GREAT! I have already canned pinto beans, and it worked great to remove the air and seal the jars tightly. I'm so happy to know I do not always have to do a water bath to seal all of my jars. I love that I can remove the bottom portion of the sealer to be able to use it on widemouth jars too!

I am very pleased with the way the Mason Genie is working. My only issue is that we are charged in US funds. I thought i was buying a $49 Mason Genie and my end total ended up being $95! Honestly, I'm not sure its worth it.

Works as it was intended and very well at that. As with any tech, you need to pay attention when you use. Make sure your jars don't have anything on the top edge before putting the snap lid on or it won't seal.

I hated throwing away lettuce after 1 meal & 3 days, and mushrooms that can't all be eaten right away. I live that I've had mushrooms in the fridge for 10 days & still able to use them in my cooking. Strawberries are still beautiful after 4 days in the fridge... not even mushy. I'm keeping the wet dog food fresh for my picky pup as well. Highly recommend and yes, I'm a real purchaser!

This works amazingly! I picked 1 quart of Blackberrys the day we were leaving for the beach. I didn't have time to use them, so I tried this to see if it would help keep them from rotting for the next week. When we got home from vacation 7 days later, the blackberries looked great and tasted fresh! I love this gadget! The seal on the jar was strong and the fruit was fresh!

I ordered buy 1 get 1 half off and I gave our neighbor one of them. Together we figured out how to use them, once we did we’ve both been using them for everything. Leftovers 👍 make a layered salad in them 👍 I put my tea bags in one 👍 I could go on about it ❤️❤️

I was skeptical that this actually would work, but after seeing a friend's in action, I ordered one. It works as advertised. You can reuse the lids over and over, and they seal tight. I would recommend Mason Ginie to everyone.

I had difficuly my order. The first time it didnt come but I was very busy with a sick relative and didn’t realize so much time had passed. But I emailed Mason, explained I hadn’t received it and they INSTANTLY jumped on sending another. No questions, just great customer service.

This is my irritation. I said it was great, but you want more. I can't tell you more, so I go back & start all over again. No thanks on the survey. I really don't want to complete multiple surveys w/same info

I'm usually not a gadget person but the Mason Genie makes food preservation a cinch. I'm able to save food from spoiling easily. It doesn't take up space or need to be plugged in to use. Saves me space, time, and effort!

I received my genie right before vacation. I was skeptical but sealed strawberries and cantaloupe a week before we left and the fruit was absolutely delicious. No bruising or mold.

Loving the genie. Just started using mason jars for storage and the genie makes it so easy to keep food really fresh. Would recommend it to any one who wants to save on their food budget.

I have had some problems with older Atlas jars but most of the modern Ball jars have worked great. And resealing and resuming the containers have worked as well. Good customer service.

To be honest, I have not been able to use it yet. I had a water pipe break in my finished basement and I have been dealing with that. I'm sure I'll love it but I'll let you know if I have any issues with it. Thank you.

The lids are a perfect way to identify the contents. And using the trick of stacking another lid on top when it comes time to remove, means the lids truly are reusable. A great asset to the overall system

I haven't used it a great deal yet, but every time I have used it, it makes me smile. No batteries, yea! Seal that holds. I will use it most for my dried herbs!

We love the Mason Genie. Very easy to use and small enough to keep handy in the kitchen cupboard. We’ll definitely be getting another one to use as a gift.

I love to put fresh spinach in my salads, but it seemed like every few days I was throwing away half a bag. However, when I seal my spinach in a glass jar with the Mason Genie, it lasts a long long time. No more throwing away my spinach!!!

I really like the Mason Ginnie, the first thing I thought was what size batteries don't be them chargers with USB,it's quick and easy to use,the seal is super tight, I tried to take the cover off after I sealed the lid now I know why you included a bottle opener;I know I will put it to good use.Thank You

Seriously, I’m not a paid reviewer by any stretch. I had been looking at the Mason Genie since the holidays last year. I finally bit the bullet and ordered 3 for gifts. At the end of the order, it offered another, cheap! I took advantage of it. I had problems with 1 one them (Glad I checked before giving them as gifts). They required me to record a video of the device (it wasn’t holding a charge). After going back and forth, they replaced it. Can’t wait until Christmas!

Just getting started. Love how easy it works. My biggest challenge is getting it off the jar after sealing. (My aging joints!!!) looking forward to doing more with it. I appreciate the tips you sent. Was helpful knowing I should use the cupcake paper when sealing up my flour!! Thanks!!

I’ve used it for a few items and can definitely tell a difference in how long the items keep in the sealed jars. Easy to use and a money saver not having to toss produce that’s gone bad.

It keeps my fruits fresher long and I can see them when they get pushed to the back of the shelf. In the cabinet my husband likes it because he can see what we have, and that it is in glass and not plastic. I just need more of the bigger jars for my noodles! Been busy changing to glass from plastic, trying to be healthier.
