To be honest, I didn't expect it to work as well as it does. I tested it with avocados, and they are just as green the next day as when I put them in, and only a slightly noticeable difference two days later, and that alone is amazing. Haven't had a chance to use it much yet, but am loving it so far. I especially like how the design keeps the small lid adaptor attached since I rarely use small lids, but because it attaches, I'm not worried about putting it in a "safe place" and losing it!

I put our oyster crackers in a small jar and ended up having to use another jar. I showed my husband the first jar, tipping it upside down in front of him. He asked to be able to do it the next time. I said there is a jar waiting for you! He was impressed! Definitely needed for anything that was opened to preserve freshness. Good for leftovers too!

I get a great seal, a really good vacuum, I think as good as my large commercial sealer. Except this thing is tiny, and I use it all the time. Well, I thought this can’t be right, we tried & tried on several jars! But no seal! But in taking the addition for reg lid off the wide, we didn’t get the gasket & were trying to seal with the reg lid sealer. When we took this out, they sealed right away! Think I’m going to like it!!

Love it! It was exactly what I needed to keep my dry goods fresh for longer! I also found 1/2 gallon glass jars that fit my geinie to hold more dry goods! It's so easy to work and takes up little space. Key to using it, always make sure the seals are on correctly and snug. Sometimes they pop out if you use it multiple times a sesson. Great product!
