This is perfect for sealing fruits, vegetables, and even crackers. Lettuce, spinach, cucumbers, and green peppers I picked from my garden remained crispy and fresh for over a week. Store bought blueberries last days longer than usual. I just had to recharge the sealing unit after almost daily use for over 2 weeks. Wish I'd gotten the Mason Genie a long time ago!

Had trouble until I realized there were 2 parts. Have used it on mushrooms and they are still looking fresh after 2 weeks. Grapes are also lasting longer. Just put some brown sugar to the test. Haven't had a chance to use it on anything else.

Love it! Especially for my fresh grapes & strawberries that go bad so quickly. I thoroughly wash them, pat them dry with a paper towel & seal them. To keep the cover from bending/scratching when I open the top I place the edge of a kitchen towel over it. The battery life is nice and long too!

I’m really just getting started. I’ve washed my mason jars so they’re ready for filling and I plan to put many things in the mason jars but life is busy and this will take place over a period of time. I’m sure I’ll be very happy with the mason Genie, I do hope that it maintains its ability to do what it claims. If it wears out very quickly I’ll be disappointed. If it lasts a long time I’ll be very happy, but I’ve barely started using it yet. Just a few things.

Mason Genie is a great product. Have a bit of patience when removing the Mason Genie off the jar, after the timer has stopped. Gentlly, but firmly wiggle it off, if needed. Bonus! Regular canning lids work, even if they have been used previously. (Bernardin, Kerr, etc)

I've always tried to focus on doing and eating according to Biblical standards, so that the healthiest of choices are made. Storing foods in plastics is not the best choice, and I recently purchased mason jars and have simply used screw on plastic lids. However, clearly air was also in the jar, so foods didn't keep as long as I had been hoping. Mason Genie perfectly fits my requirements. Mason jars are also so much easier to clean, being dishwasher safe.

I have really enjoyed the Mason genie! I have always used Mason jars to store food but this kicked it up to a whole new level! I store all my pantry items in Mason jars and it is so nice to have soft brown sugar! When I make a big batch of soup I freeze it in serving sizes and sealing the lid with the Mason genie makes it extra fresh after thawing then heating. I bought 2 more for my mom and sister in law! I purchased the Mason Genie first and really like it. I like it so much I bought one for each of my daughters I have a regular vacuum which I use a lot. I saw that you had a handheld sealer so I got one of those. It has for the most part replaced my large sealer. I like it because I can open the bag, take out what I need and reseal it. Again I liked it so much I got one for both my daughters.
