I purchased a cheaper mason vacuum sealer before which I returned soon after. It sealed only half the times and only if I put my whole weight on top of it while sealing. This has been the best purchase EVER! We live in quite a remote community so we need to find ways to make our food last before it rots & until we purchased this, there quite a bit of food going in the garbage. The watermelon has been in the jar for five days. The juice is so good & the watermelon is so crispy. I really enjoy using it. I’ve always been a Ziploc fan, but even extra lids are a whole lot cheaper than boxes of Ziploc‘s. I use the black lids of yours on things that I want to get into regularly because I can reuse those black lids. I use regular Ball lids for long-term storage because I can’t reuse those. I actually have another order in now for more of the black lids. Should get them any day now. Delivery was quick. A great product.
