You might consider having holes in your mount plate that can accept M6 screws. I had to drill out your plate to mount the Garmin units. Large units would require substantial mounting screws

Why didn't I buy this In the first place. I have around 7 different holders varying from cheap $30 to $150 models and none come close. The quality and strength of this mount is unsurpassed. Doesn't vibrate or wobble around, the phone is fixed in place and does move. Even offroad its solid as. Dont spend your hard earned cash on anything else.
