After getting an ADHD diagnosis later in my life, I was on the hunt for tools to help me manage my days. I saw an ad for the Fast Brain Planner and ordered one to try it out. Fast forward a couple of weeks and I ordered the 3-pack Planner Kit; something I'll be repeating once a quarter. It's a brilliant wee planner that has actually made me look forward to my daily planning time (and getting stuff done too). If you have a fast brain, I recommend giving these a go.

I’d been looking for highlighters that don’t scream at you when used in a journal. These are gorgeous - double ended with a chisel point which is lovely for making nice lines for headers and a point that can be used for writing or for the dots you can see in my photo. You can build the colour too which is lovely. I’m loving them.

beautiful texture and layouts, and the size is just right; really comfortable to just do idea dumps and planning on the dot grid books. i have to note that the writing friend itself is best utilised when you already have a solid story in action -- otherwise, it might become overwhelming. but that's where the dotted note fills in! overall really like how the writing kit was well thought out. will definitely purchase the planners next time!

I absolutely love this system, the folio, the 'bite-sized' inserts, absolutely everything about it! I've customised my folio by inserting matching ribbon in the top where the elastic threads through for page markers, and by putting removable adhesive clear pockets on the inside back and front covers. I also made a temporary stiff paper folder for the fourth spot. Just perfect!

Regular diaries just don't for me. I needed more. but wasn't sure what more was. I got a Fast Brain Friend in a kit I bought and decided to really give it a try and see if it worked for me. It did. They lay outs and the everyday changes keep me engaged, and the layout helps me to set my day out in a way that suits me, not me trying to suit the day. It is an easy no nonsense way to keep me on track and having a page a day makes it so less over whelming than a week over 2 pages. I am sold.

They work well, look fantastic, and the colours are transparent enough to see writing underneath, yet pigmented enough to make a difference. They don't bleed through 70gsm paper. I’ve already put my Project Friend to good use, it’s already half full of projects that I either have on the go or want to start. The Fast Brain Friend has been a bit of a challenge but I’m persevering and each day is easier to work out how I want to use the layouts. The quality of the markers are amazing and they work first try. They work really well combined with the quality of the notebooks. Did I mention that they are DOUBLE ENDED?????
