These were a bargain -I had a mix of a few viscose, one cotton , one heavy duty fabric, some very lightweight chiffon and some stretchy aertex type fabric in black. Out of the 10 I will be using 8 making pajamas, floaty blouses, bags, and the very thin fabrics will be great as netting over my plants in the garden !! None will be wasted as what I don’t like will either be used as toiles or made into large drawstring bags for storing duvets etc, and I’ve bought a second lot !!

This viscose jersey really does feel luxurious. It’s so soft and fairly fine thickness. I was expecting the stripes to run horizontally, rather than vertically, but no matter. I have made a long sleeve teeshirt for my 2yo grandson to go with the denim trousers I made for him using the denim bought from here. Great value. Really pleased with my purchase.

Absolutely fell in love with this fabric. I used 3 metres to make my version of the Fleur dress by Fabric Godmother. French seams for the bodice and centre back skirt, zigzag finish on armhole/sleeves. This design is ideal in the broderie anglaise and I will be making this style again in the Red colourway.

This is a light weight woven crepe. Ideal for draped styles. Slightly darker hue than website photo. Rather difficult to see the difference between right and wrong side so will need to take care both cutting and making up. I paid £3 for 3 m so no complaints. Thinking swishy skirt? Skirt.

The cotton fabric measures 55 x 52 cm and will be perfect to use as lining on my next bag project. With the interfacing used as a stabiliser. Needles and seam rippers are always handy extra's to have as I am always losing my seam rippers 😂

Perfect for Halloween garments. This is very good value for money. The fabric is a good weight for t-shirts. It was very easy to work with. I’d advise washing it first with a colour catcher as quite a bit of colour bled out of it.

There was just enough cotton to and material to make a quilted notebook and pen case. There was some blue facing fabric left. This fabric was not adhesive or iron on. Amazingly soft and light fabric. Also very warm. I made a hooded dress with the fabric and used the left overs for stuffed toys. Easy to sew but gets everywhere when you cut through it and makes a lot of mess. Would still sew with it.

Finally finished making up a Prima pattern in this mesh. It's very stable and easy to work with. I took some extra steps with the design and construction, such as applying fusible interfacing before making button holes. My plan is to wear it with a short black slip top and black shorts for a festival vibe. I've just ordered some more mesh in plain lilac and hope it's the same.

As you can see , I ordered a beautiful blue swirly fabric but received something entirely different , I was disappointed but my hubby still liked it and I’m making him this shirt( not finished yet) points to note :- once applying interfacing facing shrinks slightly so beware if this , I had to recut collar stand and collar a bit larger, (annoying when you had sewn them on ) watch the heat on this fabric , doesn’t like it, but other than that a nice vibrant colour sews well and doesn’t fray all t...

This was a lovely fabric. Washed well and super easy to sew. I used French seams on the bodice and skirt. No pockets as too many eyelets in the fabric! The finished dress is my hack of the Fleur dress by Fabric Godmother and is to be worn for the first time on my birthday! Beads from eBay on the ties add interest and weight. Looking forward to making this up as drapery long cardigan/ jacket and matching drapery high waisted trousers. The drape is just right. The colour is more navy than the website photo. It also has a fault in it, colour change. It is a cheaper crepe in both finish and price but ideal for trying out pattern and still wearable.
