I made Swiss steak with this blade steak. It turned out fork tender. It was so good. I’m really glad I took a chance on trying the blade steak for this recipe. I read on the internet to cut it into pieces across the grain, which I did. I seasoned flour and dredged and pounded the meat before browning it. The tomatoes probably helped tenderize the meat as well. I consider it a flexible recipe and add whatever vegetables I like.

I used a standard hamburger recipe for the ground turkey and added some spices for more flavour, although could have used more. The pound of ground turkey made 4 decent size burgers, which I cooked in the oven on a broiling pan to let any fat go through. They turned out perfect. I froze the extra 2 for an easy meal for another night.

Hello Northern Raised Farm, I recently received my order and wanted to share some feedback. The meat was frozen and sealed well in the box, which I appreciate. However, I noticed that the meat at the top of the box was starting to get soft when it arrived. I've had the chicken breast today, we make a lot of chicken salad. This was the best chicken breast we have ever had, reminds me of European raised chickens. I seasoned the chicken breasts and cooked them in the oven. They were beautifully tender. It’s so nice to be able to get frozen breasts that aren’t salty.
