I’ve been extremely impressed with this distributor. I wasn’t expecting it to be so good. Once I’ve distributed, most of the work is done, and the bed is very even. Then I apply a short tamp. The results of an excellent. I also like the way the exterior feels in my hand when I turn it.

Great solid piece! I've never used a WDT Tool before and I instantly tasted the difference. I was skeptical at first but it does reduce channeling and therefore produces a better tasting shot.

I am not sure if there is a big difference from not having a screen, but I use it every now, and along with the bottomless portafilter, I can see the channeling better, which this screen seems to improve.

Installs easily. Makes removing the screen for cleaning and back flushing less of a pain than having to pry out the screen assembly with the gasket every time—gasket stays in place and you just unscrew the Pesado screen.

Just received my HE baskets (S and M). Immediately pulled a shot with the M with 18.5g of beans, kept the same grind settings. Same as I pulled in my Weber basket earlier this morning. Close to the same extraction rate of 18.5:40. But the taste is more balanced with a bit more sweetness and less bitterness. Puck was more solid and perfectly dry and couldn’t see any flaws. Came out easily (but I’m already used to the straight sides of the Weber) This will take my coffee to the next level.

Ordering, shipping etc you cant fault the process. I have a Rancilio Silva v5 and install was simple, the second plate wasnt required so install was purely the screen. Now, in full transparency. I dont believe my extractions taste better. Thats being honest. It looks tremendous, and functionality wise, is as described, with perhaps a few areas that are slightly heavier flow wise than others. One thing I did notice, is there hasn't been any water leakage around my basket since updating ...

This screen looks much easier to clean and maintain than the normal or upgraded screens with mesh. I have not cleaned it yet. An interesting note, it did come loose after a few days. I tightened it a bit more than normal and it has been fine ever since. I attribute this to either breaking in or simply requiring a bit more tightening torque than traditional screens. The coffee is brighter and cleaner tasting. I love it.

The MV is installed on a BEZZERA BZ13. The installation required the use of the BZ13 original screw. I replaced the original screw with a SS Flat head. The MV is about 2mm thinner than Original BZ13 Shower screen plus the screw. Of everything that I have purchased for my BZ13 this is rated at the top of my list.
