Overall, water distribution if a lot better then the standard shower screens, durability is fantastic so far
However under high volume the flow can be disrupted slightly due to grinds being caught in the grooves. Also screws do come loose every so often and need to be retightened
Apart from that, water usage slightly lower due to all the water actually flowing to correct places.
Would say its an upgradr from me.

After replacing the original Breville shower screen and plastic disc with the Pesado product (MVHD for Breville Oracle), the basket and handle engage much more tightly (especially with the single cup basket) - to the point where I thought I had made a mistake with installation.
I think the Pesado product should arrive with better installation instructions, particularly which-side-up for the stainless steel disc.
I’m happy with the product.

Love my hybrid portafilter from Pesado.
Wouldn’t complain if it was a little heavier, but I did go for the plastic and honeycomb.
Like the ability to chuck the spouts on, but I mostly run it naked for scale space and espresso temp straight into glass.

The espresso is definitely less bitter. Unless I prewarm the brew group the first extraction is very short. With a hot brew group extractions are a correct ratio and consistent. The puck is wetter than prior to installing the new diffuser. Do you have any advice?

This is a heavy well made tamper. I love it! I love the fact that it's designed to be open. You can use a brush to brush off any coffee grounds. They don't get stuck between the tamping surface that goes into the portafilter and the plate that the tamping surface comes back up and rests against. Truly extracts at the next level. Far more complex flavor in the cup than with my VST basket. Only downside is the straight vertical walls make puck extraction quite challenging. Requires many “whacks” using a new technique to get the puck out. That’s the price to pay though for this type of basket.

The filter basket fits perfectly on to the portafilter of my Breville Infusion (54 mm). The finish and quality overall are very good. The tiny holes at the bottom extend further closer to the edges than the original. It seems to be able to hold more coffee if it wasn't for the shower screen protruding further than the original.

4-Stars as the replacement part came in and really works to diffuse the water evenly on a Breville. The puck now comes out dry and this is with the same fineness in the grounds.
Still, needs faster shipping for replacement part especially since if it’s advertised in the states. The initial shipping was fine if it wasn’t damaged but now I’m just waiting without a tracking number for the replacement.

Use less coffee for a good flavoured single shot. Consistent flow of 9. 5 bars on the Breville double boiler. Only catch is a strange noise coming from the water pump quite often as though it is straining. Never happened before swapping out the water screen

The impact gravity distributor work as it is supposed to. The coffee is well distributed on all the surface. The edges are covered also. The screw to block the movement was missing and after 1 or 2 emails, Pesado sent me the missing screw. Very good customer support, I would buy again without hesitation !

Love the look, love the flavor it produces, but I wish the two piece HD shower screen was thicker because it’s much thinner than my Breville OEM shower screen. My Oracle machine auto doses and cannot increase the espresso amount. This leaves a gap and thus a soupy wet espresso puck. That’s my only complaint. Still happy with the product, but if I have any issues, that would be my only gripe.

Will not fit Breville Bambino portafilter, but will fit tightly my Crema portafilter. Instead of 2 tablespoons of espresso beans, I can fit 3 tablespoons of espresso beans which means higher extraction and more high grade espresso. Love it, use it daily.
