I bought these for my husband, who needs zero drop shoes for his lower limb prosthesis. We’ve been hard pressed to find brown dress shoes that don’t look too off, and these were a great find. At first I was turned off by the duck-in-bowling-shoes look of the toe box, but that quickly went away once I put them on. The shoes meet my expectations. They are not as wide as other barefoot shoes, but are equally satisfactory. I scan wiggle and splay my toes with ease and comfort. Third pair! I purchased my first two pairs in a size 14. I am now in a 15. The roomier fit is ideal for me at my standing desk and allows me to work on ankle and foot mobility with shoes on. I personally wanted the elastic laces to be tighter, but the majority rules. The shoe is surprisingly durable, given the cost. I've only worn them for a week, but I'm so happy with these shoes! So many "barefoot" sneakers are not flattering, but these are uber comfortable and chic. The leather is soft and there was no need to break them in. I love the elastic laces for easy slip-on. My only complaint is there's no way to wash the elastic laces (you have to cut them to remove). Typically I wear a triple e in dress shoes. And that is because my toes sit very wide. Additionally, I have a high arch that oftentimes requires an insole. These shoes feel fantastic. I've only worn them a few days and they are somewhat broken in already which is great. Other shoes would take months and need to be stretched at night.
