These steaks are beautifully packaged and delicious. I seared them (New York strips) in a cast iron pan and finsihed them off in the oven, placing a pad of butter on top as they rested for about 7 minutes. They were perfect; as good as in any restaurant!

I don't do pictures of me eating. Cause even the cows would look funny at me. My dogs watch every bit as it is. I enjoy the hanger steaks just fine. And to prove that , after I enjoy one my dogs won't have much to do with me because I don't give them any. They have plenty of dog food and rabbits to chase.

My friends and I really enjoyed sharing a 1/4 cow. Meat was well packed, delivered fast, and customer service was amazing. The meat tasted great!
My only complaint is that the beef is grass fed but is grain finished. Would be great if it was grass finished as well.
Overall, if grass finished isn't an issue I would highly recommend 44 farms.

Everything was great except that I should have noted that the address was a business because the shipment did not get there until the next day instead of the day they were expected. The steaks were thawed but still cold. We refrozen them. I am sure they will be fine. The driver got there at 5:30 and the business closed at 5:00.

Personally I prefer the choice grade of meat and find the steaks to be excellent in flavor, marbling and tenderness. The hot dogs are excellent and I also find the ground beef to be excellent. I prefer the brick packaging over the chub packaging for the ground beef

This is the third prime rib. I have purchased. It always takes a lot longer than the directions call for, but I was on it today and that wasn’t a problem, but you might as well figure double from the directions.
The filet mignon medallions melted in my mouth. They were wonderful. I did them on a charcoal grill within Direct heat and then seared in a cast-iron pan over the coals after 100° to 135°.
