These are great I love them! a good amount of grip but still plenty of ground feel and very comfortable. In my case they fit perfectly as a size 10 UK, normally I am size 11 but ive always found that one size down has worked best for me with this type of shoe. I owned classics before which were very open, in comparison these have a good snug fit and are more enclosed around the foot keeping them more secure.

Look really good. Very subtle, in a good way. Initially the space around the toes felt quite compact, because of the thickness of the wool fabric. After a few minutes of use, they felt superbly comfortable. Definitely less odour from the shoe after use than other models I’ve worn.

Second pair of these type and fifth pair of all types from Barefoot Junkie! The previous pair lasted four years of weekly swimming and water sports in all weathers/seasons, salt and freshwater. Great fit again, good to see some minor improvements on last version including a little more cushioning with minimal reduction in feel. I’m a fan.

I love the V-Alpha. I've used it for years and it's the most minimalist shoe and fantastic for trail running - please don't discontinue it. Or if hyou do, please replace it with som ething equally minimal. Minimalism is best for trails - it's where we really feel connected and grounded, so we don't want thick fabric - the thinner the better!

At the age of 60 this is the first time trying this type of footwear. First pair ordered my normal size or refraction too small very fast Service and returning and swapping out for size larger that happened to fit perfectly. It’s taking a little bit of getting used to wearing them for short periods of time but my feet are now becoming adjusted to the freedom.

They are great, just a little too big because I needed a bigger size for my previous Vibrams (which were a different model) but I think they will still work fine with socks. Having worn the V-Run Retros as a Barefoot Virgin for a good portion of the week of Summer, I found them getting a bit chilly for the colder temps. So recently got a pair of these V-Trek Insulated Men's Black & a pair of V-Lynx to try. You defo need to size up one due to the insulation thickness as recommended on here.
I found the V-Lynx to be a bit loose on the heel for me, like it needed a heel lock, but that said I don't wear socks with any 5 Fingers as I find them just too faffy to get on...
