The file was easy to use. The only problem i had was the screw holes. I used the 1/16 bit I purchased and drilled to .25 as instructed. When trying to install the screws, the holes were undersized. The first screw head broke off. Of the 19 shapes, 13 broke screws because the holes were too small. I ended up hand drilling the holes using a slightly larger diameter bit. Instead of the different item being on different sheets they are scattered around on one sheet. I am new to the CNC, but I am working forward by taking a class for VCarve Pro. I have done a VCarve inlay on scrap oak and walnut using the face grain. Worked out great using the bit. I have a cutting board that I am working on and the walnut board V-groove has come out incredible. Will start on the male plug soon. I have had mishaps with dropping a bit and breaking the tip off. Lesson learned. I do enjoy working with the CNC and VCarve Pro has been a true leaning experience. I watch your video...

I was buying the fancy blue bits from another company. I had a number of those expensive bits break. I tried CIC's bits and was very pleased. First of all, it cut really fast. Second of all, I crashed the bit a couple of times due to my own stupidity, and it held up just fine. I am impressed by the smoothness of the cuts. I tried two different projects; an elliptical tray about 9" long and the star Ryan did on the video. They both came out very nice. The machine used is a Lunyee 4040 and is limited by the wattage of the spindle. This is my first venture into the CNC world, so I am defintely a novice.

Haven’t had a chance to cut yet, but the material is as expected. The only thing I’ll say is that I would like to see a wider range of colors. Also, unrelated, but any chance of some Cedar panels? I love using your hardwood panels for most of my projects, however, I have a few that I need an outdoor, upstate NY application. Sun, humidity, and wet. If you offered Cedar panels, instant buy! The pocket and the maze cut perfectly. The handles did as well. The outside edge went off the rails due to the clamps giving way. Luckily the cut went to the outside of the board. I wan able to salvage the build by cutting he outside profile on my bandsaw. I will probably do that from now an anyway. It was faster and cleaner than routing it on the CNC. It will save the bit as well. Just needs edge rounding and finish.

Well, somehow I did the male carve wrong so it would up bigger than the female. My mistake for sure. Going to go put resin in the carve. I think it’ll turn out great.
