I'm afraid my project was a fail. I didn't notice that the vac housing was going to hit a hold-down bracket until it was too late and this led to a cascade of problems. I'm going to try again with some new materials as soon as said materials arrive. Stay tuned

It cuts great grooves that require no sanding . But the extra wide corners where I open it up to for the extra juices to flow it doesnt do well. So I had to use my bowl bit to clean up that area

Found that it was burning a little on a couple axis, adjusted feed and spindle speed and got it done. Overall the 3/4 bowl bit worked pleasingly. Looking forward to more adventures with these bits. Highly recommend CIC. Great content on the media platforms and excellent bits.

Wanted to smooth my spoil board, purchased a fly cutter off the Internet, wasn’t very happy with it. The one from cutting it close left no lines, no marks and it’s longer shank made it easier to remove a couple gouges in my spoil board. The brass feet are very nice looking. Only problem I had was the screws seemed a little weak. Broke 2 of them while tightening them down. Even had the holes pre-drilled. Awesome cutter! It cuts fast and clean. Leaves an adequate finish not a mirror but it is a rougher going thru the material at a very high feed rate. I used it to cut out plug side pieces on a CIC end grain cutting board blank in both Walnut and Padauk and it was quick and there was no chip out.

I'm pretty new to the CNC world. I'm running a Shapeoko Pro and initially was using Carbide 3D's bits, which were fine, but the cutters that I've purchased from CIC Workshop have been fantastic! Unless I need something that they don't make, I will only be buying from them going forward!

The 1/4" bit is working great but after cutting out twenty or so parts from 3/4" walnut and cherry the 3/16" bit broke. I'm not sure why or how. It was cutting great for me until it snapped.

Tools look very good. Have not had a chance to try yet but I put them under a microscope and the cutting edge looks flawless. I am sure they will work fine. I have been using bits from amazon and satisfied with the results. HOWEVER, when I tried out your bits I was blown away. Will never use amazon bits again. I accidentally landed this 3/16 bit right on top of a Kregg pocket screw, the screw head was neatly removed and the bit never complained. Absolutely no damage to the bit.

The kit was well packaged and very professional. Epoxy was great; however there was a knot in the walnut that couldn't be avoided in the carve. This caused a through hole that had to be sealed with some tape. A minor leak but not am ideal solution.
