Love BamX. Using the router to get two different colors is great, and The hardness of the bamboo make for really clean cuts. I wish is came a little thicker. Even just another eighth of an inch to 7/8" would make the catch all trays and serving dishes 25% deeper.

Here is a custom board I made for a client who wanted to say a special thank you for the treatment he received from his doctor. Since they had developed a special relationship, he has able to find out some of his hobbies: playing the guitar and surfing. I used the CIC 12x18 maple and walnut inlay kit and made it unique. Everyone was thrilled with the outcome!

Used this tapered ball nose to cut the lines for a Go board. Being new to cnc I was worried about using a bit this small but it cut wonderfully.

Used a section of the cherry panel to make an inlay for a retirement flag. I use the oramask stencil tape to carve and paint the design. Carve a flag with inlay section 0.3 deep. The cherry is thinned to 0.6. Poured blue and gold epoxy. The flag is 13x25x0.75

Because I am running an earlier version of software the files came across kind of skewed. But by watching the videos and reviewing the instructions in the file I was able to put together the surfaces and model and write the program. This is my first attempt at a 3D part. I am loving all the support and the knowledge base from the CIC crew!

These 30 deg v bits work like a charm. Best all, they last a long time and tip doesn’t break. These are carves number 8 and 9 and the same bit and the tip is still intact and the cuts have nice sharp edges. These epoxy projects , while I didn’t vcarve the epoxy, I did use a CIC 3/16 upcut for the profile cut and I was extremely satisfied with the finishing pass. Very smooth.

I have a Shapeoko Pro annd use Carbide Create and Motion. The information was straight forward and easy to use. I missed a setting in the video on the start depth on the pocket and had to watch it make a cut pass on already removed materials, this will make me remember next time one thing to watch for. This is a great look and nice project.

I love this BamX. I only wish they offered more choices and made the outside layers thicker. I have so many more ideas but I am limited because of the thickness of the outer layers. Even a reverse of the colors (light, dark, light).

Literally used it twice and the tip chipped off. UPDATE--- Brenda called me and she is replacing the bit !! I'm TOTALLY BLOWN AWAY by the Customer service. You have a CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!!!!

Everything cut nice and clean and it came out just as I had hoped. I used the 1/8th and 1/16th oflute bits and a 45 deg bit for finishing the edges. I made if for my business because regular signs blow away, degrade, etc, and get expensive to replace. This isn't going anywhere, and it stands out above everything else!

Ordered the brass feet for my cutting board. As there was a lot of work put into this board, I didn’t want the standard rubber feet. The feet from CIC didn’t disappoint. I will order again with next board.

I’m a novice at woodworking in general and CNC routing in particular. I watched the CIC Video on the round over bit, ordered one, and used it successfully on my first CNC design. I did a rough draft using MDF to have a church committee review it, and the results were much better than expected. I still have much to learn, so I will be watching more videos soon.

Honestly, Ive not had this good of service since the 70's. This company truly takes good customer service to a whole new level. Wow is all I can say.

This is the third time I've used this bit to surface a board. To say it is AWESOME is an understatement. In the picture is African Sapele that was unmilled. It took six passes to get this whole side done and flat, being conservative going .03" on each pass at initially 100 ipm and sped it up to 200 ipm. If you look in the back ground, by the Onefinity label, you can see the original level of the Sapele. This is another incredible bit by CIC WOrkshop!!

This bit does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Clean, crisp lines and sharp detail, especially in hardwoods. I’ve used it for lettering and engraving work and it leaves a really nice finish without a lot of cleanup needed afterward. Holds an edge well and doesn’t fuzz out the edges like some cheaper V-bits I’ve tried. Definitely one I keep in rotation.

This material MAKES me look like I know what I am doing. MY QA Department (wife) likes it so much she gave me a gift certificate for Christmas so I could buy more. LOL Keep up the great work

These bits do the job faster and easier than others I have tried. Carving time is not as long and setup is a lot better. Still learning but I am thankful for the Bit sets and Customer Service that I have received they are Fantastic and have a customer for life.

I love the monthly projects as they greatly enhance the learning process of CNC's and add new perspectives as you create a new product. Fun to make and easy to learn. A double win! Carving plastic is a new and fun endeavor.

My little niece, Parker, loved the CIC banner & wanted to show it off along with all the safety gear & CIC hat. I love how interested she now is in CNC.

These are super nice and glue up is done properly. The glue didn't come loose with all my fussy work. the only thing I could ask is that ya'll do a 2" thick x12x12"checker board pattern. :) That would be amazing and I'd buy them for sure.

After viewing you yideo on vcaeve inlays, I wanted to test the method on small letters. Inlaid purpleheart letters in spalted maple .Impressed how good the bit did on spated maple.

This bit is super sharp and smooth! The detail it can produce is outstanding! All the bits from CIC that I have ordered have far exceeded my expectations! I'm a customer for life!

Love the feet. Had a problem with the hole size being too small for the brass screws. After breaking 2 of the screws, I had to go to the hardware store and get screws that fit. Ended up with a slight mismatch in color but I don’t think anyone will notice.

The brass feet make a great subtle accent as well as the added weight to the base for my lamps. This one was especially significant as the wood sourced was from a 1600’s Oak Tree on the property of my daughter’s church.

Love 1/4" Baltic Birch plywood. It's so adaptable and versatile. Most of the time, you'd never even know it was plywood until I told you so. Will buy more for sure.

I have been working to use HDPE, two sides. The combination of this bit, and the HDPE, allows me to do two sided person golf bag tags for an outing. Many tries before this, and the best result.

Great. Just great. Great material, wonderful project, properly packed and shipped, and: all one needs, all the p;roper sizes, no trip to the hardware store for just few screws, and where to get just 1 to 3 of those metal balls... They have good people there in Texas.

The inlay builder kit is high quality, flat and square right out of the box. Saved a lot of time not having to make end grain boards myself. Very nice end grain boards, great price. I have ordered this more than once. Fast shipping, Thank you CIC.

This is the first time I ever used this material on a project and WOW !!! Its great. There is only one concern I have. I am wondering the best way to remove the small fibers after the cut. Inside the lettering ect... But it was very easy to work with and it gives a project a POP! I used a 1/8" ballnose bit for the ring carving and a 1/8" 30 degree Vbit for the lettering. I did not want to use the O flute bits I have because I wanted to try normal bits and it worked great. Highly Recommended!!

BamX is Awesome to work with. I enjoy using it for projects and will buy more of it when needed especially when you have a sale on it. Unfortunately, as you see in the picture, my CNC ruined this piece due to two loose screws allowing the Z motor brake to slip (lesson learned: periodically check the screws). However, the previous piece came out great as seen in the other pictures!

The O'Flute Bit set cut the ColorCore HDPE like butter! Required minimal touchups after it came off machine! Already dreaming of more projects to make with the rest of my ColorCore HDPE!

Everything went as expected. I did knock a few of the finer points off when cleaning up the "fuzzies", so next time I will be more carful. I think I also put too much glue in the recesses and that held the insert up a little too much, leaving a slight "line" around some of the parts. Perhaps a little more "bottom clearance" would work better for me. I'm very happy with the "first try".

As I am new to this it went well once I got started. Have learnt a lot in a short period of time and as you can see I haven’t competed them but you get the gist. Thanks again. I will try the inlay next week.

Nice little file. Handy to have tool paths available through my machine is not robust enough to use them it was nice to have them to know what to edit as far as feeds/speeds.....Nice file

The best 2 bits for wooden inlays that were ever made, are the 3/16” Upcut with the .75” cutter length and the 30 Deg V-Bit with 3 flutes. Nothing else I ve ever used is even close to the performance these 2 bits provide.

Pushed me to start to learn gcode as I edited to make a medium version at 15”. Had trust issues on speeds and depth of passes, but let it ride. No issues and definitely pushed my boundaries. The 15” blank I made also turned out sweet with edited gcode (carbide create user)
