I have been using the CIC machined cutting board feet exclusively on my “Outlaw Creations” custom Bourbon bottle lamps. Our customers love the beautiful craftsmanship and scratch proof seals of these feet.

The way flag is hanging over my garage door. I’m going to make another one and I will add the 250 year logo in the red and white field. Loved this project. Thank you CIC.

The walnut panel was great. One of the clocks is made from wenge I had purchased from CIC a while back. Although I did not use the clock designs that came with the order, I did use the vectors for cutting the diameter and the clock mechanism. I will continue to purchase from CIC.

What a great project!!! So many people commented favorably about it at out 4th of July party. It was a pleasure to carve. I swapped the X and Y dimensions to fit the piece on my Nextwave 500 Shark CNC, sanded with 150/220/320 grits, then put on a coat of Watco Danish Oil. Fantastic! Thank you Ryan and the CIC Team!!!

Purchased to make for an auction fund raiser for the americanhuey369 museum in Indiana. Finished my flag version with 6 or 7 coats of minwax tung oil finish. Also, donated two cutting boards. Thanks CIC for the process.

I was happy with the original flag kit/file, I was even more pleased when I still hadn’t started project when you sent out the Seal file, I think it made the project POP even more.

I used the digital file that Ryan gave out for Memorial Day. I used your cutting board kit and instead of using the 30 degree v bit I used 1/64th tapered bullnose(TBN1-64) along with the 1/8 inch upcut bit(UC2175) for clearing out. Project went great and all the materials were in great shape!

Beautiful product. The code had to be adjusted to accommodate my Onefinity and I added lots of whitener to make the stars pop a bit. Otherwise, Out of the box and into the hands of my 16 grandkids. Fun.

My two very first inlay cutting boards. Learned a lot. These kits are great for smaller machines. The quality is exceptional. I picked up several more to fine tune my skills.

I love the HDPE material with the different color choices. This alone brings a wide range of ideas for projects. I find it much sharper when using the O flute type bits. Project comes out very very nice. Highly recommended!

Easy to produce. My CNC was not quite big enough so I had to break it into 2 sections but it worked great. I’ve had it a week and already used it 4 times!

First time doing very detailed image carves. I was initially going too deep. That's a user error not a bit error. The mountains in that pic were .76 mm deep. I imagine even better detail could be found shallower. This bit performed flawlessly, even if it's programmer (me) is still learning.

Both the cherry and walnut panels came from CIC. I will continue to support this company by purchasing their products. I love the kits. I have done all of them.

It is always nice that I can buy your product when I am in a hurry to get a project done and don't have time to get a panel glued up. I will continue to buy support you guys.

The project was awesome. I think this monthly project is a great deal. Gives me an opportunity to create something I may not actually do. So thank you CIC for giving us these kits.

This was a great cnc project! The ornaments are beautiful and fun to make. I scale a little bit and copied the 6 onto a 12"x28" scrap piece of Beliwood that are currently curing! The waiting is the only bad part about it!

They look good, easy to install, and make a great finishing touch . I used them on treasure boxes for my grandsons that hopefully will become jewelry boxes when they get older.

I thought I would try out this new material (for me) and absolutely love it. I recommend using the suggested upcut bits. Initially, I started with a 1/8-inch downcut bit and wasn’t satisfied with the results. After cutting a few letters, I switched to an upcut bit, which cleaned up the earlier cuts and produced the sign you see here. I'm really looking forward to using this material for my project. It took me a few tries to get things just right. Lots of YouTube videos and CIC Inlay video, but after a few tries, I got it!!! Wife is super happy with how it turned out, and that's what counts. Thanks, CIC workshop, for making this project possible. Well worth the time, effort, and expense. This is truly a piece of art that we will cherish. I can't wait to start the next project.

I had never worked with colorcore before. I made this sign for the company I work for. I am the maintenance manager at this location and felt we needed an entry sign. After making this one I now see me making 4 more for locations throughout the plant. The product is so easy to cut and has a finished look once the cut is complete.

This was a fun project. The file was fine to work with. It’s really designed to put on 4*4 machine but with a little knowledge I broke it up scaled it by 1.250 per inch. Then cut piece by piece. So over all mine is 23 inches long. It’s well worth the price. I cut this project on a 4060 pro. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a little bit of a challenge.

The marble Maze “project of the month” produces a quality designed maze that will make an excellent gift for each of my grandchildren, which I hope will occupy their curiosity and much time for solving the Marble Maze challenge I’m definitely looking forward to this next months project kit

AMAZING CIC Maze Kit! Super simple and fast to make! Completed it in less than 4 hours including the drying time for the spray on finish! Cutting it Close Workshop is the place to go for your bits and materials!

I can't say enough good things about these cutting board inlay kits from Cutting It Close. The quality is fantastic and the shipping was fast. I will be ordering many more.

Both the design file and tool pathing worked perfectly. I bought the Bamex and the recommended bits and here’s my opinion of them. Bamex is easy to work with and appears to be very durable. I used food grade mineral oil as a finish and it looks great. As usual, the two bits recommended for the project are well worth the money. I used the recommended speeds and feeds and all the cuts were flawless. The CNC I used for this rocker is an Avid Pro4896. Thank you CIC

Great quality every time. I cnc alot of personilized gifts for business and realtors. I was doing all the milling from slabs before and this has saved me so much time.

I love this inlay kit. Yes, I could make it myself. Who has time for that? I will be ordering more in the future. CIC please get yellow heart back in stock.

I made it for my granddaughters in Washington state. They got it today and I got pictures of some smiling girls back. First time cutting BamX. I like it and will look for more projects to use it. Thanks CIC

This was my first kit. The files were perfect, the instruction video walk me through every step of the process The results came out better than expected. I just ordered two flag kits. Am very happy with the results of the maze.

I and my customers love the domino game set. However some customers have asked if I have cribbage boards. So I added to the outside of both halves a cribbage board protected with acrylic. Thank you Andy roff

First time I've had a chance to work with Osage Orange and it's great! Easy to cut and very little packing or chip-out. Nice wood - I'll definitely get more!
