This was a great cnc project! The ornaments are beautiful and fun to make. I scale a little bit and copied the 6 onto a 12"x28" scrap piece of Beliwood that are currently curing! The waiting is the only bad part about it!

This was a fun project. The file was fine to work with. It’s really designed to put on 4*4 machine but with a little knowledge I broke it up scaled it by 1.250 per inch. Then cut piece by piece. So over all mine is 23 inches long. It’s well worth the price. I cut this project on a 4060 pro. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a little bit of a challenge.

I thought I would try out this new material (for me) and absolutely love it. I recommend using the suggested upcut bits. Initially, I started with a 1/8-inch downcut bit and wasn’t satisfied with the results. After cutting a few letters, I switched to an upcut bit, which cleaned up the earlier cuts and produced the sign you see here. I'm really looking forward to using this material for my project.

I had never worked with colorcore before. I made this sign for the company I work for. I am the maintenance manager at this location and felt we needed an entry sign. After making this one I now see me making 4 more for locations throughout the plant. The product is so easy to cut and has a finished look once the cut is complete.

First time doing very detailed image carves. I was initially going too deep. That's a user error not a bit error. The mountains in that pic were .76 mm deep. I imagine even better detail could be found shallower. This bit performed flawlessly, even if it's programmer (me) is still learning.

Both the design file and tool pathing worked perfectly. I bought the Bamex and the recommended bits and here’s my opinion of them. Bamex is easy to work with and appears to be very durable. I used food grade mineral oil as a finish and it looks great. As usual, the two bits recommended for the project are well worth the money. I used the recommended speeds and feeds and all the cuts were flawless. The CNC I used for this rocker is an Avid Pro4896.

I have a Shapeoko Pro annd use Carbide Create and Motion. The information was straight forward and easy to use. I missed a setting in the video on the start depth on the pocket and had to watch it make a cut pass on already removed materials, this will make me remember next time one thing to watch for. This is a great look and nice project.

I cut out and built the press the day I got the plans. Beautiful ! Then I got (free) the Deer pattern for a large complicated Inlay project. Your video was a great help as this was my first inlay on my CNC. (Longmill MK2 30 x 30). Both male and female parts were perfect using your 3/16th endmill and your 30 Deg. V-bit. Both cut wonderfully and the project is in the press right now. Can't wait until tomorrow to take it out and finish. I'll send pix of both when the project's done.

This is the first time I ever used this material on a project and WOW !!! Its great. There is only one concern I have. I am wondering the best way to remove the small fibers after the cut. Inside the lettering ect...
But it was very easy to work with and it gives a project a POP! I used a 1/8" ballnose bit for the ring carving and a 1/8" 30 degree Vbit for the lettering. I did not want to use the O flute bits I have because I wanted to try normal bits and it worked great.

Everything cut nice and clean and it came out just as I had hoped. I used the 1/8th and 1/16th oflute bits and a 45 deg bit for finishing the edges. I made if for my business because regular signs blow away, degrade, etc, and get expensive to replace. This isn't going anywhere, and it stands out above everything else!

I’m a novice at woodworking in general and CNC routing in particular. I watched the CIC Video on the round over bit, ordered one, and used it successfully on my first CNC design. I did a rough draft using MDF to have a church committee review it, and the results were much better than expected. I still have much to learn, so I will be watching more videos soon.

Everything went as expected. I did knock a few of the finer points off when cleaning up the "fuzzies", so next time I will be more carful. I think I also put too much glue in the recesses and that held the insert up a little too much, leaving a slight "line" around some of the parts. Perhaps a little more "bottom clearance" would work better for me. I'm very happy with the "first try".

Unfortunately, as you see in the picture, my CNC ruined this piece due to two loose screws allowing the Z motor brake to slip (lesson learned: periodically check the screws). However, the previous piece came out great as seen in the other pictures!
