I’ve wanted to enjoy a fire in the backyard that I could easily take car camping but my wife hates that everything always smells like smoke. I love it! My family loves it too! No more searching for a place that sells firewood and hauling the wood around making a mess in my vehicles. No more trying to start a wood fire in a slight breeze. Absolutely enjoyed the first use - my only concern was that it used a lot of propane relatively quickly (1 hour ) - and as the tank got lower the Barcoal burner stopped getting full heat - when I turned down the A frame , the barcoal got hotter, but never full heat again even though the BC valve was on HIGH How long should a full standard bbq propane tank last with both valves on high ? Our first camp trip with our Howl Campfire was to Merus Adventure Park in the Palo Duro Canyon located SE of Amarillo Texas.
