I received the handpan safely. It was packaged perfectly. The sound is good. I asked to send me a large one instead of a small one, since I have arthritis and it is difficult to sit low. They met me halfway and sent me an adjustable one. I am very pleased. Thanks to AS TEMAN. Good service and good quality handpan.

i am so happy with this Handpan!! Admitting it is my first, and i guess there's a whole range of handpans to be discovered.. the Handpan is well tuned and has quite an even and clear notes sustain, on the higher notes logically a bit less than on the lower ones. What an excellently crafted instrument, a visual treasure and an angelic sound. When I'm not playing it, I'm dreaming of when I can play it next. This is easily my favorite material object. I am glad I saved for a higher quality handpan, some cheaper ones I have heard are quite dull compared to the sound this produces. Thank you ASTEMAN for your excellent craftsmanship, worth every penny!

This is my 3rd Hang drum from ASTeman and the quality of the instruments are excellent. Tones are clear and distinct and accurate, and finish is of a high quality. Will consider to buy another in special key. Service quality is also spot on with prompt delivery by FedEx and timely update on delivery status. Would highly recommend them if u wish to purchase a hang.

Looks great, and easy to keep looking good. Tone of notes is excellent, resonance and sustain very good. So good that I find it difficult to get a crisp ‘slap’ sound from a non tone field but being a newbee, I am sure I will get there eventually. The braided rope fits nicely and finishes the look well. Loving learning to play and composing some melodies, very relaxing!

D Kurd sounds great, every person I play for says it sounds excellent. Definitely would recommend even though people say Chinese hand pans cannot be as good because they don't cost three to $4000 each! Don't listen to the myths!!!

Just following up on my initial review. I played back a loop recording of my guitar and played along with my AsTeman Mandala 440HZ. You can hear the tuning up against the guitar. I am very happy.

I am a lifelong musician but new to playing a handpan. I decided to take a chance with this purchase and I’m happy I did. Good to tuning and sustain. I ordered the 440hz but my singing bowls and other instruments are at 432hz. I’m hoping I’ll be able to exchange but I’m really enjoying playing this in the meantime.

This is my second purchase with special scale C# Annaziska. Quality of build of hang is as usual excellent and all notes are accurately tuned and very musical as a scale. Enjoying it very much and would highly recommend it to all who wants a quality instrument at very reasonable price. Also, customer service and delivery service are very professional and fast. This handpan is absolutely amazing. I’m so happy. I don’t want to get up to eat I just want to play it all day. It sounds louder than others I’ve seen. I’ve only seen and tried about 4 others including 3 handmade locally near me and this is likely my favorite sounding and looking. Every note is clearly different and I didn’t know if I liked the smaller notes at first but after practicing they might be my favorite. It was amazing to receive this beautiful instrument made with such a care!!! I spent months selecting it and this was the best choice! I live in Europe so it was a mess with customs clearance but it was totally worth it! I would like to thank the company for packaging it so carefully and putting all the Fragile - VIP tags on the box which I guess made the transportation company preserve it better. Thanks a lot! Very good instrument for learning to play the handpan. You don't have to spend a few thousands on a top shell handpan to learn to play.

The Handpan arrived promptly, and was really well packaged. At first I thought that note 2 was out of tune, but it was just where I was striking the note. If I struck it right on the crease of the dimple it was fine, anywhere else sounded flat. The other notes were fine though and I could strike anywhere and it sounded great…but once I realised that I’ve really enjoyed learning to play. For the money, it’s a great instrument and the Ding is awesome..!!!😀

Hi there! The handpan songs good, i don’t know exactly how this instrument suppose to song in a high performance, im not a pro in this area.. i think that i discovered is that is not painted well done, in some places is not painted at all. Very strange Thanks in advance

The drum is absolutely beautiful; in both appearance and sound. My only complaint is the fact that As Teman did not reply to any of the email messages I sent to them (I sent a total of 3 over the course of several weeks). The drum was well packaged, arrive with all the accessories I had ordered, and was in great shape when I received it. My handpan was shipped right on time! The design is just as beautiful as it looks in the photos! I’m not an expert nor a musician, but I don’t think it’s out of tune! It sounds harmonic!… There was just a shipping issue which I’d have liked to know in advance! I had it shipped to Canada and the import fee had to be paid by myself! That caused a 3-day delay in the delivery process!
