Got these for my husband and 2 sons. They loved them! It was a great surprise for Christmas. I am glad I kept the shirts all these years. I wanted to do this for a while. Glad I finally got this done. Well worth it. Required little effort on my part. Turned out perfect!

I love it it’s so nice to have all the memories of the places I rode too and the places I had memories with my family on the quilt. And always better not to throw away, I’m having another one made soon. But in my opinion if you would stitch every panel through the backside they would last longer threw washing. I know this because my mother used hand stitch all her quilts and I’ve had some of hers since I was 16 and I’m now 68. It might take a little longer but definitely worth it.

I have had four different quilts made from Repat and they have lasted for years and washed well. T shirt quilts are a great way to hold on to memories of good times. If I had any criticism, it would be that some of the squares on one of the quilts we not completely straight and so the wording on the t shirt square looks tilted. This only happened once.

I decided to use project Repat to create a memorial quilt out of my deceased husband’s T-shirts. My husband was a tour Bus Driver and drove across the country and into Canada driving bands. 80% of the shirts sent were from the bands, and could not replaceable! I put it in the mail on April 2, 2025. It got lost in the mail and ended up in Puerto Rico! I was devastated and thought I could never get this back.
