I got my first one 6 about 6 years ago when my mom passed. I used all her shirts and some of mine. It became the best blanket. I have collected more shirts over the years and ran out of space in my closet. I remembered my first one i received and immediately collected my shirts to make another. I even got my dad to get one also.

My husband died in February 2026 and he had a massive T-shirt collection. After several hours of planning the layout and getting everything ready, we shipped the shirts and the info to get everything done. 6 weeks later, we received the finished product and happily we were very impressed with how the blanket turned out! After saving shirts for years, I I was a bit nervous to send them out to be quilted. I am so glad I did, and my 18 year old was genuinely touched seeing all of his old shirts and jerseys. This quilt was so well done! Everything was placed perfectly and all of the different materials came together great! I plan on offering one for my younger son when he turns 18.

Giving the quilt itself 5 stars but will echo other reviewers that it would have been a better experience if I knew before I ordered that I’d be forced to use FedEx rather than USPS to ship my shirts (interestingly USPS is fine for them to ship the quilt back!?!?). Also thought it wrong to encourage people to pay for rush shipping to “get before Christmas” at Halloween week. I was able to reduce my shirt and sweatshirt collection, clear up space, and not feel guilty about putting them in a donation bin where they’ll end up in a landfill.
