We remodeled our bathroom and purchased an expensive Moen with a fixed rain shower head and a magnetic removable handheld sprayer. I tried to install it without my husband's help, but ultimately I needed his strength to pull the connector away from the wing nut on the shower arm. After that I could do the rest, as it was straightforward. No leaks since installing (I made sure to use the plumbers tape included). This was my contribution to a friend's guest shower, although it turned out that the original shower head pipe was too high for most folks. We remodeled our bathroom last year and it came with a single arm showerhead. No hand held. I really missed the hand held and went through an outrageous nightmare installing a Shower Envy plastic hand held. It blew up upon turning on the water, pieces flying everywhere. The company wanted us to re-enact that nightmare and send them a video before they would issue a refund. Initially it was quite confusing as several parts arrived on different days but once all parts were in hand it was simple to install.
