Beautiful cutting! I filled a hole with about 12 inches of crystal kitty litter, embedded the cutting, and then covered the top inch or so with compost and yard soil/leaves. I resisted the urge to water, although rain will eventually fall. (Crystal kitty litter--microporous silica pellets-- absorbs up to 30 times its weight of water, so hopefully this will be sufficient for this cactus to grow in a healthy way in a warm and wet climate.) So far, so good!

My order came packed nice and secure. They were healthy and ready to be potted. I did make the mistake of putting the extra small next to a diffuser, so now she is a little pointy, so don't make that mistake. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and will order again.

The San Pedro Cactuses came meticulously wrapped up for their trip, plus a warning to watch for sharp prickles. I did not heed the warning and tried to pick it up; not a good choice. I quickly started caring for them with the respect they needed. Their packaging and state were healthy, and their roots were even more carefully wrapped. Someone really cared for them and their journey to TN.

Loved working with San Pedro Source!!! Shipping was fast and I got emails to update me on the shipment. Once they arrived, I followed the instructions. About a week after planting, I had one cactus get rot at the bottom and fall over, they gladly sent out a replacement and gave me a few pointers what to look out for. These are beautiful plants and I can’t wait to watch them grow out here in the deserts of West Texas!!!

Well, i had one 5x the size of this one so i wish it was larger but needless to say… I overwatered that one so… here part two. Ordered it, it shipped fast and came ready to be potted. I added it to a cool pot and giving it the proper environment to thrive. Very HAPPY i could find this plant to replace the one i lost. :)

I bought pots for 5 specimens and ended up having to get 2 bigger pots because the cacti we're so large! The picture is of my winter growing set up. I am trying to keep it bright so as to keep the cacti growing fat and not thinning out at the top.

It's been great so far - they came fast and I was able to plant them ASAP. My first pots were a bit small so I moved them up to the ones in the photo.
The cuttings were definitely generous - I ordered 12"s and they were closer to 18"s, so thank you very much.
They are in a southwest-facing window that gets too much light for other plants, so I'm hoping these do well. Especially in winter when that spot gets lots of light!

These were very great quality cacti sent in super fast time! I was extremely impressed. I ordered them on a Sunday night, and received them Wednesday that same week. The picture is how they came in the box, nicely wrapped in the paper, the roots covered in plastic wrap. I ordered from a couple sites and this site was by far my best experience.
