I love my aged oak contemporary mantel! Urbandi was so patient with me as I struggled to find a mantel that I liked. I originally ordered the rustic aged oak but I wasn’t a fan of the way it looked. They responded immediately to my email explaining my disappointment in how it looked and sent me a new mantel quickly. Unfortunately I had the same issue with the 2nd one. When I opened the box I was amazed at the depth of color and craftsmanship of the board. It was beautiful and just the right size. Actually it sat on my counter for a few days because I couldn't bring myself to put a knife to it. The walnut wood is excellent and the color is terrific. We are in the remodeling process and added a bar to our dining room. Upper cabinets were too costly and too busy for the area, so we opted for extra long and deep shelves (78 x 10) to use for glasses and decor. After viewing many options, we opted for these floating shelves from Urbandi due to their reviews and the fact that they included the brackets and hardware. Overall I am very happy with the shelves that we ordered from Urbandi. However there is one corner of one of the shelves the was a bit jagged and I think it should have been sanded smooth. This is just a fairly small issue though. I really like how the brackets allow lateral adjustment so you can still hit a wall stud yet put the shelf where you want it on the wall. The last piece/shelf arrived and was installed today. The photos show all of the Urbandi shelves and mantle that we purchased. Finally, our 22ft. vaulted wall is finally complete. We are extremely pleased with the quality and look of these shelves. The pictures don’t do them justice, as they make the whole room feel grand and elegant! We are super happy with our mantel. This is 54L X 6H X 8D Jacobean Stain Distressed. The length is perfect with just a little space on both sides and the 8 inch depth is nice if you want to put frames, etc. on top. The markings are perfect. We have gray/dark brown floors so we might stain this a bit darker. It's hard to see colors well online but this has some really nice dark browns with some little spots of caramel/reddish but mostly dark brown. We're not sure the lighter spots go well with ou...
