I attached this header on the "outflow" end of my sluice because fit better than on the flared "inflow" end. I just moved the clamp and flipped the dream mat the other direction. This header was very good at increasing flow through my sluice in the low flow winter conditions in Colorado right now.

I really liked the paydirt. It had some heave black sand which made it more challenging. The ROI was about 60% but that is not why I buy paydirt. I live in no gold territory and to go somewhere where is some good gold panning would cost more than just buying some paydirt that you can pan at your own leisure and the comfort of your home. I think that if you would like to improve your product you can get the gold content to 75-90%.

The web site was easy to place the order. The order came as scheduled! The unit worked perfectly and captured and cleaned up the gold flakes. The only comment I can make is on my end. Lost 3 small flakes off the mat due to maybe too much of a slope on the unit. Processed 15 grams of flakes and everything worked good. It was hard to get the flakes to release from the mat. Had to use a lot of water force for it to release.

I like these clamps in 2-situations one of course is in my gold cube and second I grind down the inner ridge of the clamp and cut them to width , I use them to hold down thin rubber mat of all brands in my clean up sluice , the clamps don't take up so much space in the sluice

Fantastic sluice. Works great. Overall, i would have to say it catches at least 95% of gold. I've noticed that most of the gold stays at the top of the sluice. This thing is awesome i ran 4 different classifications through it from ¼ down and it caught it all. I even sluiced my paydirt again just to be sure and found 1 tiny little spec of gold second round. Better then expected, read bad reviews of the round hole design, but once it arrived it is now a slotted opening design, so i was happy with that change, only thing i can say is it is a little difficult to understand how the u shaped sand sprayer bar is fitted and tie wrapper to the hopper, but the jet nozzle style fits perfectly, have not had a chance to try it, as it is still the dead of winter here in the north

Already owned a sluice box buddy but this new switchback sluice is much more efficient . Effective at recovering even small gold. I prefer a 120 volt pump so use that rather than the 12w pump included with the switchback but it’s nice to have both. Highly recommend buying the switchback!

The highbanker workers great i just don't like to big suits in it that allows big flat rocks to fall and clck the highbanker. I broke mine off and put my own punch plate in and it works alot better now. Also you can put a 8 inch sluicebox at the end as a extension and make a long tom out of them. I have a trek sluice I put at the end and then put the flair at the end of that one and now I ordered a 8x47 inch sluice with the micro mat. So I can catch all that flour gold.

I tried to use the original plastic water outlet piece that came with the gold cube to hold my dream mat in place.It never seemed to work right. Being flexible plastic, I couldn't tighten it down onto the Mat evenly. The new piece being metal is sturdier, and it holds the Mat great. I have increased water flow. And it's even all the way across.

It took some testing, but with the proper slope and water flow the Dream mat is catching nearly 60% of the sulfides in my hard rock ore. That is unheard of recovery. That recovery % rivals some flotation operations. It is also catching a fraction of gold I had never seen in my placer ore. Not even hand panning shows this fine of gold the dream mat is catching. I think this does a great job of taking my gold cube clean-ups down to a more manageable amount for panning. The matting seems to catch air bubbles and might be missing some gold once the pockets fill up with material. It's not a problem though, I just run it back through the gold cube on the next go around.

I had a lot of fine material I needed to run. This worked prefect I got about a gram of gold first use. I haven't ran the entrails through it yet, but I'm very happy with the first use. I watched videos online before using it I used a toothbrush and dish soap and cleaned the mat before I used it. I'm very happy it's my new go too to get the gold instead of panning all the smalls.

I had a problem mating the halves. The hook engaged on one side both ends. I squeezed the handles with plyers, still couldn't get the handle to lock together. I wrapped the handle with black electricians tape. two layers. Now the tape is securely holding the handles together. I used the buckets and the handles feel great. Please check a set of handles from the batch my order came from and you will see the problem. BUT! I like the handles.
