I've had great luck with the sluice. Just ran 3lbs of paydirt that had some flakes that would float if I wasn't careful. The sluice caught them all. I hand panned all the tailings to be sure. None escaped!

ok so i wont get a discount for showing a video, boring! i could attempt it but i am using it on beach sand to recover fine gold and although you can see the gold in EVERY hole you will just have to take my word for it, i get most of the magnetite out using a spin it off tool and a sand sluice i made, then run that sand through my gold cube. before using the dream mat addition, the cube worked very well and captured most of the gold, after the dream mat addition, the dream mat captures about 75%...

Gets the Fine Micron Gold, Silver and apparently the Platinum, if you have it, we do. Believe it or not we found out that our claim had "MetaBasalts" by the acre or Basalt Structures carrying Fine Micron Gold, Silver & Platinums....its RARE we know but it does occur and there is info on the internet about these, anyhow A Neat Little Sluice !

This is my first sluice. So maybe my experience is due to user error, but after taking it to the creek three times now I notice lots of gravel gets caught in the grate instead of being pushed out. This forces me to stop and clean the gravel stuck in the grooves every three shovels. As the gravel clogs up this grate, the concentrates get washed over and out of the sluice.

Another great product! It does a great job getting the gold. Ran a load of "empty" dirt with 1 gram of assorted gold added through it and got 1 gram back with it in one run. Easy to set up & love that I can store the legs out of the way in the same brackets that keep them in the use position, just slide them through the brackets 90 degrees to the use position. Can't wait to get it out into the wild next month!

I love the transformer sluice. I repurpoused a beach chair bag to put it into that gets strapped to my pack when I hit the creek. Its very easy to set up and the dream mat is easy to remove and clean into a bucket or even straight into a pan full of water. I like the flared attachment and feel like it makes it easier to setup and to get a nice flow going. Prospectors dream makes a great product and im already dreaming about getting their highbanker attachment for my other sluice. A++ Item.

Nice little high banker. I use it with a Dewalt 20 Volt battery and step down to 12-volt controller. Lets you fine tune the flow and lasts a long time. Took it on a trial run and was able to carry everything in a five-gallon bucket. Got gold on the first use.

Easy to use, Simply clean up., Built durable and to last. Light weight , perfect for day trips or backpacking trips. Just used it on a day prospecting trip and it found gold. Never classified, just shoveled material onto and had very good results. Used the Combo mat with 3 different riffle sizes, Worked very well!!! Being older the classifying stuff needs to be removed from my routine, My back loves this sluice!

A couple easy holes to drill and a bolt and wing nut to hold it onto the sluice. I used JB Weld to hold the bolt in place so I could turn the wing nut and not have it turn the whole bolt at the same time.

This little clean up sluice was AWESOME !! I ran a small bag and a large bag of Prospector's Dream paydirt through it and tested the tailings behind each run. I panned it super slow and careful and could not find even a speck of gold in the tailings ! This is Great for getting your cons down to almost nothing but pure gold.

I’m really glad that I bought this header box! I’m not able to get out to the creeks and rivers so this allowed me to turn my Dream Mat sluice into a reciprocating sluice. The mat looks great. It will be used to filter the water/dirt ejected from the Drain Tube of my Vertical cyclone/fluidizing sluice that is made by Paul. The gold is collected in a Jar at the bottom of the sluice. The fluidized material is rapidly spun by the cyclone injectors. The water from 6 water jets cause the material to rise and exit thru the drain tube. The drain tube has a ribbed which is removed and washed. From here, the water drops onto the mat as the final gold catch.

I designed and built a vertical sluice where the material is placed in a funnel, washed into a cyclone chamber and drops down into a jar. The expelled material is passed over the 4x16 sluice to see if any gold is expelled by the vertical sluice. So far, using paydirt, no gold has passed out of the vertical sluice. The 4x16 sluice is the back-up for catching escaping gold.
