High quality blinds with excellent mounting brackets. Installation was a breeze. Remotes come paired set at min/max travel points based off your dimensions. Measuring windows is simple just follow the instructions. For home automation choose your motor wisely if you plan to run off your phone. Might have to read up on the different wireless protocols. You can use the home automation or just the remote it comes with.

I bought a day/night shade for my kitchen. It arrived quickly and contained all mounting hardware and a usb-c charging cable. A stick-up template was great for getting the mounting holes for the brackets right. The shade looks good and is quieter than I expected. Per the instructions I used the button on the shade to wake it from sleep mode. The remote control was able to control the shade immediately after I installed the two AAA batteries.

Installation of the blinds were a breeze. However, I had trouble connecting Apple Home Kit to the blinds. I ended up calling customer service and I was pleasantly surprised by how they helped guide me through each step of troubleshooting. We were able to get the issue fixed. Shades are very high quality and easy to install. The motors are quiet. Even when you have multiple shades their travel speed and stop locations are very well synchronized. Only suggestion is a few more words about the steps in programming the Matter-compatible shades. I figured it out but others might need some more details.

These worked great. Easy to install. The double sided tape wasn’t the best, but after putting a couple screws through to hold it better, I was surprised how well they worked. I measured them all the way up to the roll mounted at the top and tripped just a tiny bit so there was no room for light to come in, in between. Love the product.

We love our shade. It was overcast when I took the video but it blocks sun from our front door and looks nice. We get breezes and wind and the mechanism included with shade doesn’t work for our installation so I added some weight to end of bottom bar. It s a temporary fix. Need to ask company for suggestions.
Remote is handy and shade effortlessly glides up and down quietly.
Neighbors have commented as well as visitors. We highly recommend smart wings.

We were considering indoor shades for these west-facing windows, to make eating dinner more comfortable. Then I realized that SmartWings outdoor shades could be a better choice, and they have worked very well. We chose 5% openness Black Gold fabric, and they look great.
Mounting them on the outside wall was very simple (just need to check & double-check horizontal levelness), and they worked well with the pre-paired remote controls.

Great blinds with solid quality. They work with my Google Home (through my Nest WiFi). Just be sure you accurately measure. I used a laser measure and should have just used a metal tape measure. It worked out, but was a tight fit.

Installation was straightforward, did need two people to lift the blinds up and into the brackets since our window is so wide (98”). The motor runs smoothly, and the outdoor shades are GREAT at keeping the afternoon sun from heating up our kitchen. 1% openness is perfect. We had manual crank shades before, but didn’t use them often because it was a hassle - love being able to open and close with the push of a button from inside.

We bought the Nowa blackout cellular for the bedroom. The fit was very good so the the outside light from the morning sun was minimal. We are using the Echo Plus 2nd Gen to control the shades and the integrated system operates well. We are able to use voice commands as well as routines. We are planning on buying more shades.

I’m very happy with this purchase. The Installation and remote programming instructions were both straight forward. My only challenge was that the screws that were included to attach to the wall were much too short if you’re screwing them directly into studs (only 1”). The blind is fantastic! It does a good job of blocking out the light and is much better than the curtains I had before for ease of use. If you want a complete block of outside light inside the window frame would not be a good choice. Some light around the edges is not an issue for me.
My only complaint is that there is not app from Smartwings to unlock more options for use. Google Home does not yet support schedules with these blinds. Having a basic app would be nice for an ecosystem that does...

One advice: measure and re-measure as many times as needed (to a 1/4th of an inch level) to make sure that the shades fit perfectly in your space, and then purchase the shades. We did it and the shades fitted perfectly.
