Great 4 piece rod that comes with a nice protective rod case! I keep this in my truck for those spur of the moment fishing trips :-) I have used it once and it felt nice and light. I paired it with my Okuma Baitrunner reel and surf fished for a couple of hours. Though I did not catch any fish on the first trip with this rod, I do love the feel of it!

Oddly, I use this shirt less for fishing, as I do for riding the Harley. Perfect warm and cold weather, breathable, moisture wicking first garment. This goes on first, then a regular T-shirt, then my leathers. All day comfort, regardless how the weather changes. The hood and face screen are the best feature, and they will break the wind and insulate my dome...hot or cold! Finally took it on an 11 hour kayak fishing "test run" down the Russian River from Guerneville CA, to Jenner CA on the coast...

Im usually an XL depending on the brand. I bought a 2XL Just in case I wanted to wear extra layers. I’m 5’9 220lbs and I can say that the jacket fits true to size. The 2XL sleeves were a little long for me. So far the jacket is pretty warm and went in some light rain. Haven’t tried to test in cold cold weather yet but so far so good 👌 better than my north face

all of these Fishermans life jigs work great from the heavier 4 ounce to the lightweight jiggy jigs. I recently purchased a couple 3 ounce ones and then quite a few of the lighter ones. These jigs have great action, great colors and a lot of flash and reflection in the water. They also come with good stinger hooks. I’ve gotten some pretty big lingcod and have not had them bend out, I almost forgot to mention these jigs are way cheaper than the big namebrands and work just as good.

I really wanted the waterproof jacket along with the pants, but the jacket was out of stock. I might have to revisit that. I haven't needed to sue the pants yet, but they look good and I'm completely confident that they will keep me dry in a downpour.

I let a friend borrow my new No Excuse 9’4” travel rod when he went on an Alaska cruise. He caught several Coho salmon with it and said it performed very well. Unfortunately, he left it in the car on his way back to the cruise ship. He is thinking if getting one for himself and repay me. I ordered another one and can’t wait to use it. I will put an ID label on the rod and will wrap an orange neon tape around the case so it stands out more and decrease the chances of not losing it.
