Great material. Keeps me warm. Fits well. I use it while surf fishing. The only thing I could suggest to make it better would be to line the inside-bottom of the jacket with the same water proof material - about 6 inches from the bottom up. When I wear this over my waders and wade deeper in the surf, the inside of the fleece also gets wet when a larger waves bump up against me.

Love the rod! Holds up well tossing 1-2oz sinkers/ big live baits and lures. Lots of backbone, maybe a bit stiff but it works well for me. Caught my first (freshwater) ling on it. Pairs well with a 4000 size reel.

We are in Kauai on vacation for my 75th birthday. Nobody here fishes this way. They do what they call whipping with very small Castmasters. I outfitted the locals with the slip bobber system. I caught much larger fish than what they were pulling in. Being able to fish exact depths makes a huge difference. I also whipped with very large Castmasters and caught larger fish. I haven't had a chance to use these yet, but they reminded me of what my Dad used back in the day, which was a small metal rod with a hook attached to it and holes on the other end of the rod to attach a swivel!
I am sure these will work just as good :-) I have watched a few of the Fisherman's Life YouTube videos on how to attach these to your bait and troll them. I can't wait to try them once salmon season opens back up!!!

Got these at the fisherman’s life fair this year.
I have to say they sat in the corner of my room for about 4-5 months, then I recently got a fishing kayak and I’m out in the winter. These have been essential in keeping my dry + warm. No problem down to 40 without any base layer.
It’s nice knowing with the heavy mist, fog, & rain as of late I’ve stayed home dry or even when I land a fish and bring it in it’s not a big deal. Super good investment if your fishing and it’s cold!

I used it to float popping corks for redfish in SC. It was perfect. I can tell you it will hande 30" + reds with no problem.
