I didn't want to leave a review until I'd done two coats and let it dry properly. It was really easy to use and I love the colour. Totally thrilled 😍

I have used a 500ml bottle of Blue Fabricoat on this chair, which was a cream colour. The paint goes on easily and goes a long way. Unfortunately there is not enough paint as it has dried patchy so I will be ordering some more!

Moving house the last thing we want to do is buy a new carpet but the bleach from cleaning the toilet made the room look awful! Only using half a bottle of green magic and a brush & this was the result, it looks like a new carpet! Almost an exact match I watered it down to help absorbtion and it blended in wonderfully. Renovation complete in one day at a fraction of the cost. Fantastic product ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

So pleased with the final finish. It went on really easily, very smooth and not all blotchy. Overall finish is great, a little sheen in places but a good deep coverage overall.

My mother wanted a change of chairs but didn’t won’t to spend a lot of money at nearly 96 years old. She saw two chairs on eBay and said these were just the shape and size she wanted. The plan was to have them reupholstered. However, the quote was over £1000.00. She decided she didn’t want to spend this much. I had seen Fabricoat on FB and we gave it a go. She is happy with how they have turned out. The cost of the chairs and dye has come to under £65! I greatly over ordered and Fabricoat have i...

I was really sceptical about using Fabricoat on my very faded sun damaged chaise, but the results are fab. The texture of the velvet is now slightly rough, but I can live with that. It feels like I have a new piece of furniture.

The paint covered really well and I now have 5 grey lampshades which match the colour scheme of the room at a fraction of the cost of replacing them :) I would highly recommend Fabricoat Fabric Paint. I had never done anything like this before, so just be brave :) I am very happy with the result.

I wanted to freshen up my decor by replacing grey with colour and could not be happier with the results! My sofa looks like it was always that colour and application is super easy. I picked the raspberry shade although being a mid grey base the colour of the final result is more muted than the paint in the bottle but I am over the moon with how my sofa looks.

I have never painted fabric before and I was sceptical. Seeing the amazing results from other customers made me want to give it a go. I am so pleased with the results. An old lamp of my late mothers brought back to life for next to nothing. My husband is not going to be happy, I'll be finding more things to paint now 🤣

Wanted to try this fabric paint so bagged myself a £10 chair bargain off marketplace to try the paint on. Chair has linen fabric on and was stained - I cleaned it as best as I could - waited for it to dry and painted it with 2 coats of paint - I’m impressed with how it came out

This was our sun faded ottoman bed from Loaf. It needed some help to bring it back to its former glory. I bought 2.5 L as suggested and I used pretty much all of it. It’s very easy to use and does exactly what it’s says on the tin (omg, did I just say that, everyone says that on Screwfix reviews 🙄 ). Anywho, yes it worked for me, took two coats but it faultless. Looks amazing, extremely happy the product and finish. I would definitely consider using again and would recommend.

Very pleased with the FINAL results of the two identical large 2 seater sofas. They were light cream and still quite new (from M&S) l used 9 litres of blue (twice as much as l thought) The blue is a great colour, the photos don't do it justice. The fabric is a dense linen which needed a lot of paint. I bought the paint brush and brush combination pack which were useless, instead I used a short stubby brush to get the paint into all the fibres and then worked it in with a bristle brush which was ...

I am absolutely thrilled with the results. I upholstered tge grey version of the sofa but, as we have moved, I've entirely changed the decor. It has saved me about 15 metres of fabric and a lot of time. After a couple of weeks, it is now as soft as the original velvet. I even did the cushions as I was advised that they would be colour fast and washable. Could not recommend more. Just looking for my next project!!

Used 2 x 500ml of Green. Really pleased with final look. However do note, I ordered the first one straight from fabricate. The 2nd bottle, we bought from Amazon, still fabricoat, same colour as green but different label and it was a darker green colour. Which I preferred but they are very different greens .

Quick delivery. Love the colour … It looked like a shocking pink when it went on, but it calmed down to a lovely raspberry colour. It was very easy to apply Once the fabric was damp. The bottle did one coat of the Ottoman. I probably would give it a second coat if it wasn’t in a room that’s not used much, but I’m happy with the overall effect.

This is the second colour I've tried and it's turned out really well again. The photos attached give some idea of the colour changes but not entirely true to life - it actually looks much better in reality.... The original 2 sofas were light grey with white check. I did one sofa using olive green, two coats turned out great, the green was deep with the original chequered pattern of white lines showing up as a lighter olive green. And now I've used mustard yellow on the other sofa, but just o...

I have not used a fabric paint before so was impressed with outcome. You must keep brushing the furniture piece while wet and as it dries to obtain a soft supple finish. I will use Fabricoat again as it is much cheaper than upholstering with good quality fabric to give a similar outcome in my opinion.

Oh wow! The results are amazing. This product was so easy to use, simple, fundamental instructions to follow...I did and voilà; a completely new colour. A lovely injection of raspberry to break up the white in the bedroom. I am already looking for other items to 'paint'. Such a small amount can go so far and create such magic......Thank you.

I previously painted the footstool from cream to light grey as an experiment before painting the sofa ( see review in March). I’m pleased with the results with the sofa. The material is stiffer despite brushing but the paint went on easier this time as I learnt from last time to really ensure good coverage with the first coat and then the second coat didn’t need as much paint.

Started off on the footstool to test it out and get a feel for it. Subsequently went a little too sparing and it could do with a second light coat to rid it of some patches. With the chair though, was more generous. Coated really well, was a relatively fast transformation and very happy with the result! Now thinking of the other items of furniture I can paint! Only slight downside is the fabric is noticeably stiffer than it was. Not an issue with this type of chair but squishier things I might t...

This is the second time I’ve used Fabricoat. The first time I used it to paint the inside lining of a brimmed hat, where I wanted the lining the same colour as the hat. It worked well. This time I’ve been able to re-use an old chair and give it a new lease of life in a different room with a different colour scheme. Good to know I have the option of changing fabric colours with Fabricoat paint.

I wanted to change my chair to a navy blue to go better with the colour scheme. The paint was very easy to apply, it needed a 2nd coat as was patchy, however, I had made sure to order enough so this wasn't a problem. Im very pleased with the outcome

I am thrilled with Fabricoat! This loveseat is from Designer’s Guild and was a natural linen colour. Our kids and pets totally destroyed it with mud stains, pant hand prints and cat scratches. This paint has given the love seat a whole new lease of life and made the fabric stronger. I ordered the recommended amount for the size but instantly could tell it want going to be anywhere near enough. I think the linen was just a very thirsty fabric so I diluted the paint to ensure I could get at leas...

This was a very, very old chair we had recovered almost 30 years ago. We took a risk knowing the recovered cherry/cranberry color might be too hard to hide and overcome with the fabricoat burnt orange paint. We have some weird splotches, and it still hasn't been a full 7 days of curing yet. But compared to the $500+ it was going to cost to recover it, this was worth it for a chair we were moving to the bedroom for my husband to throw his clothes on. It matches nicely with my new rug which was th...

Used blue, green and white to mix a teal colour. Revamped an old IKEA footstool that was cream coloured before. The brushes are really handy, especially the bristle brush to get the material to stay fabric-y and not go stiff. It looks a bit patchy but that’s on me. It was a first try. Once dried, the colour stays put and doesn’t come off.

I used dark green paint to revitalise my green corduroy Mamas & Papas pram. I didn't take before pics of the hood, but it was very faded and yellowing. The white inside the hood was also yellowing, so I painted that green too. I did one coat of paint on the hood, using the brush bundle. The small brush kept the pile from flattening. The inside took three coats, but now looks amazing. It only took one bottle of paint, and I had bought two in anticipation. I would definitely recommend using...

I used 2.5 litres on my footstool and recliner, with none to spare. I'm pleased with the overall effect but it was quite a laborious process and took quite a while to dry. Has a slightly crunchy feel to it but that could be use error! Lovely colour.

Excellent result ideal fabric with grey fleck ads to it really well.....one coat was enough followed instructions to letter with no issues I had 5ltes n couldn't finish the back of sofa (against a wall so got away with it) Read so many reviews was really unsure bit wished I'd done it ages ago Only dow side was bit stiff but after my husband has valiantly devoted all his spare time to "breaking it in" it's softened up lovely .....what a hero 👏

Used 1 part white to 4 parts green. It would look better with a second coat, but it’s ok as it is. Very happy with the product, easy to apply. My only regret is that all the colours are strong, bright colours. It would be good if you sold a stone coloured mixer which would both lighten the shade and give a softer, more muted hue.

I have to say it is THE most fabulous product ever. The pics are a work in progress- doing two massive grey velvet sofas 3m long each! Will take a while! . I was a bit sceptical as have had a few dyeing disasters in the past but Fabricote is nothing short of miraculous. Goes on so quickly and easily and looks amazing. Cannot wait til I’ve finished- think they will look great. Wondering what else I can use it on now. You’ve started something! ( and saved me thousands in recovering costs!). Very...

Bought a secondhand headboard with the intention of reupholstering it. However it was in perfect condition so I thought I would try Fabricoat. And what a great result: I love it! I used the brushes I ordered and they worked well. The ‘scrubbing’ brush was essential to stop the paint being too thick in areas. Three coats applied and I only used a third of the 1L tub I bought. Now looking for my next project!

My grey Chesterfield sofa was starting to look a bit tired but still comfy and in good condition so i didn’t want to get rid of it. I thought I would give the dark green a try and I am so pleased that I did! The colour is beautiful and the whole process was simple. I will be doing the armchair next to match. I would highly recommend Fabricoat.

This is a great product for the fabric I have, it’s a non pile cotton chair so difficult to clean. Quotes for recovering were £230+ I have painted 3 chairs and used 2.5 bottles of paint. Therefore costing around £10 per chair. It’s time consuming, but definitely worth it for the cost per chair.
