This is the first I have used this on vinyl/leatherette normally on fabric but it worked so well. Colour turned out perfect with only one coat put on with a small roller.

I was sceptical at first but ha ho let’s do this . White shimmer crushed velvet bed so good base colour , I chose light grey to go with most of our bedding decoration, it went on easy , I was surprised how little I needed even with all the nooks and cranny’s on the bed . It took about 3 hours to paint and 8 hours to completely dry , it did feel rough and hard to the touch but the next day I brushed it all up and I now have a soft pile again . I liked the colour very much and it took a lot of paint . It took 3 coats. I really needed to dampen the fabric first. Unfortunately It’s not quite as soft as it was before though - there is a crunch to the chenille fabric. Personally I think it is suited to fabrics which are smooth and not textured in any way.

Hands down,the best idea ive ever had, my chesterfields are amazing quality and so solid, but as you can see the fabric was old and vile! I am blown away! Its literally like I have brand new chesterfields! Well worth every single penny, cost me about £215 to do one big 4 seater and one big 3 seater. Much much cheaper than new settees or re upholstery! Couldn’t believe how easy this was!! Completely transformed my bed into this beautiful dark lush green, which was so easy to do!! I used 3 bottles, spraying the fabric with water first, working on a section at a time, painting and then brushing over with the soft bristle brush - it only took one coat to achieve this gorgeous rich colour!! Super happy!! Would recommend!!

Really great product. I used it for changing a cream carpet which was looking a bit tired. There are a few slightly lighter patches but that was because those area of carpet were more worn than the rest, I’d recommend doing 2 coats if your carpet is the same. By the time my furniture was back in, it looked like a new carpet! Will definitely be getting more for my stairs and landing.

Was a little nervous pianting a cream lampshade, but once I saw how easily fabricoat went on, I enjoyed it so much I ended up painting a table lamp as well! Colour is exactly as advertised and coverage is amazing. I still have some left over after two coats on the large lampshade and 3 coats on my table lamp (it was bright red and I really should have put a white basecoat on first!) But it ended up looking amazing too. Will definitely use Fabricoat again if I fancy a switch up.

We have a footstool that was a remnant of an old velvet 1970s lounge suite. Our plan was to recover it only we never got around to it due to the cost of doing so. I didn’t want the expense of replacing a Roman blind for new colour scheme as it was in perfect condition. I had it dry cleaned then I went for it and painted! I’m surprised how easy the process is. It would probably look better with another coat but that would make it expensive and almost the same cost as buying new. The blind is folded up most of the time and the overall effect I hoped for has been achieved. I recommend!

Dark green is a rich and warm colour, adding depth to the furniture and room. Applying it is as simple as the instructions suggest. Covered both cushions easily with 500ml even touching up left some excess in the bottle. Dries quickly. The feel of the cushions haven’t changed all that much at all. I would recommend and look forward to using the product again elsewhere. A cost effective solution over reupholstering. Love my new look.

Was so impressed by other reviews I took the risk on painting our old sun faded ottoman bed head and frame myself! The perfectionist in me says this needs another coat, but as a first coat it is great - took 4 hours approx to do it all. A spray bottle is essential to moisten the areas as you go, super happy with the result! Also have 4 dining room chairs, an IKEA wingback chair and foot stall to do next! Great products
