I already own a pair of the extreme 2.0 earbuds but after a few years I was ready for an upgrade because I wanted something even more portable. Tested these out at the local Cowboy Action match and they worked great! It’s difficult to find good in-ear protection that truly cancels out shooting noise but also allows you to hear audio well. These really worked great with hearing instructions and safety protocols while also reducing the noise from the blasts produced by my coach gun! STANDARD EQUIPMENT Rifles for me are not the easiest thing. Right handed and severely left eye dominant to start with. Then try and get a good cheek weld with ear muff style protection along with safety glasses over eyeglasses. It is inconsistent at best and uncomfortable as well. Comfort! Have seen these advertised for some time, but balked at the price. However, after buying several different brands, none were comfortable after the first half hour. I shoot different competitions where I can be wearing muffs for two hours or more. I was impressed after my first match. Fit was perfect, comfortable for the entire time, and suppression worked perfectly. Well worth the price, looking at getting another pair or two for family.
