Great product. Most any leather glove would work when rappelling. Anything that protects your hands would be “ok”. These gloves are the best for the job. I love the extra leather layer on the palm to help defuse the heat from the friction. Having the thumb, middle and index finger tips open lets me rig my rap without having to take my gloves off. All that and they’re lightweight and breathable. I highly recommend them.

I bought this pack because the newer rapide and guide packs were out of stock. This is an awesome pack that will hold just about everything you need in the canyon. Built like a tank but comfortable to wear. I love this pack and I hope Slot gets the newer versions back in stock, I would still like to buy a Rapide.

My favorite shorts for a long time were always the Prana cargo shorts, but they have been de-throwned! These shorts are the perfect thickness and perfect fit! I don't just use these for summer canyoneering, but I bought several pairs to wear them as my new casual short. Great buy!!

I have 2 of these, one white and one black. Also bought 4 more for xmas gifts for my older kids so they have one of their own and don't have to borrow mine. I find them perfect for a day at the crag, enough room for climbing gear, clothing, water and snacks, and my rope (which I can start with belaying right from the bag, then switch to a tarp to flake on)

Awesome shorts! Had to jump a Barb wire fence yesterday in them and I heard and felt them snag but there is no rip like I would get out of my other shorts with similar materials. The fit is great!

LOVE THIS HOODY! Breathable, moisture-wicking fabric that's protective and cooling. It is stain resistant and launders well. I like the fit - it is not skin tight, but big enough to allow free movement for scrambling around. Super comfortable as a base when you need to layer up! I will buy this hoody again and again when mine wears out or when I need a perfect gift for my outdoorsy friends!

I haven't had a chance to get out and use this thing yet (probably won't until spring), but I will not hesitate to drop, slide, scrape, throw or dropkick this bag in the next canyon I run! Great option of you want to take a smaller pack (Tower 36 pack) and not have the rope take up all the space inside, and not having to carry a seperate sling style rope bag that always inhibits moving thru technical terrain. Plus this rope bag allows me to start lead climbing right from the bag and comes with a tarp for flaking after the first climber.

Bought this bag after using the On Rope Descent for a few years. NIGHT AND DAY.
This bag is 1) incredibly well made 2) VERY intentionally designed 3) Extremely comfortable.
First outing was the Subway in Zion and I was blown away by the fit (6ft tall, got the large). I only have a 200ft rope which was super overkill and quite heavy, but this bag allowed my to put that weight on my hips instead of shoulders and man it changed my whole experience.

This Sun hoodie fits well and seems like it will last a couple seasons of canyon guiding. Heavier than others I have but also will last longer and is white so it doesn’t attract the sun like darker colors do. So far I really like this hoodie.

The wetsuit bag is a great accessory! I commonly use a 5mm full suit for class C canyons in the San Juans. The wetsuit used to fill up half the bag! The bag easily attaches to my pack allowing me to now use the main pack for all the technical gear required for the descent.
Then upon dropping in, the wetsuit bag goes away and I'm left with a small pack for the canyon. Great idea guys! Thanks for your innovative work.

I love the way the rope feeds out of the bag and all the organization it has in it. I'm definitely gonna put it through its paces in zion but so far I'm impressed. It's the best pack I own by far. I switched from a rodcle pack and don't regret that decision at all.
