I've already used this shirt several times when out in the sun for extended periods. I keep the hood up and it works well with a baseball cap on. I'm glad to have my arms and neck much more protected without having to use sunscreen. The fabric was light enough not to feel overly hot.

This review is specific to the bag I have - Guide 50L.
Have it for 4 months now, used 6-8 times.
Pros:
- I was and still am surprised with how comfortable it is on my back. Being that it does not come with a fancy shmancy back system like regular hiking backpacks, my expectations were VERY low. I was wrong!
- LOVE all the hood compartments. Good use of space with lots of storage.
Cons:
(Please keep in mind I do things differently than most)
- Slot people: $330!!! You can sell it with a carabiner...

I love the capacity and durability of Slot packs. I think this one just doesn't fit me well. I got the S/M. I'm 5'8, 135 lbs, female with a long-ish torso. I have a hard time getting this pack's weight onto my hips and off my shoulders. It might also be because it doesn't have a frame, so when it's loaded the weight kinda sinks onto my shoulders. Oh well. It drains super well and holds all the things, so I will continue using it for canyons!

I love all the bags that are offered here. When I purchased this bag I had done so with the intentions of using it for crag-climbing and for dry canyons.
Due to its design and integrated features, I feel as though it would be a great addition to wet canyons as well! However it does not have any punched holes in the base / sides that allow for drainage of water. Making the bag heavy after submersion.
Over this is an all excellent bag for what its intended use is for. I will continue to purchas...

I fill like the pack is over all well made. I just wish the belt around the waist was more chunky to sit on my hips to take some of the weight off my shoulders. The last 2 miles of the subway are hard already but they were miserable cause my shoulders were hurting so bad. Zippers and seams seem to be sewn well and I hopeful that it will be better on another hike.

This is truly a high quality pack. I ordered one after borrowing a friends for a full day hike/canyoneering trip through Zion. 480ft rope, personal gear, water, lunch and helmet, with a small amount of room to spare. Durable with some wonderful features within. Next time they build this I hope they consider a larger top. I ordered the shorter frame, which fits me well. Good luck and stay safe out there! Kyle
