I really love Slot bags for all my outdoor adventures. I recently broke one of the buckles and ordered a replacement buckle and strap.. It was exactly what I needed and shipped super fast. I love everything I have tried in the Slot lineup and recommend their stuff to everyone.

I haven’t had this out for a hike yet but have worn it around town to get a feel for it. It’s soft and comfortable, feels great even in the AZ heat. Looking forward to a trail test soon

This is the 2nd Slot bag I’ve bought, I got the smaller bag for day hikes and it Ben great like I expected. I have the bigger canyoneering bag going on 2 years and have put it through hell and it’s held up great. I love the slot gear.

The most comfortable, durable rappelling gloves I have worn, and I have tried several brands and pairs. I appreciate the build quality, the fit, and the way the seams are sewn to minimize abrasion.

I love my new Canyon 26L bag! It's comfortable and very durable. I've used it a couple times for going to the local crags and am really stoked to have a slimmer SLOT bag for tight canyons in Utah.

Recently got a Guide and Rapide and tested them out in Zion. These pack are clearly made for the canyons by people who know what is needed. Highly recommended.

These are light and comfortable. Quick drying and look great. Fit is a tad small so if you are on the edge of sizing up I recommend you do.

Great bag for a quick trip in a canyon. Carries my gear, food, and water no problem. I really like it!

Fantastic bag! It's been thrown and dunked under water, it's been dragged , it's been rubbed against canyon walls. Carries my ropes, gear, water, and food. Love it. A+

Love this fleece hoodie. Feels like it has a good fit, and I love the two buttons up top. The zippers on each side of the pouch are a really nice feature. Been wearing almost daily at work, and still debating whether or not to wear it on my next canyon adventure. The UT canyons (especially the tight ones like in the North Wash) might be a bit harsh on the fleece. I probably should have bought two of them, one to keep nice at work, and the other to thrash in the canyons during fall/winter.

Pack was great. I have been canyoneering for about 18 years and this pack is the best Ive seen so far. Though I do have a few suggestions. 1. Bigger drainage holes. When I had a 200ft rope it made my pack quite heavy and hard to get out of the water and I found myself wishing the pack drained faster. 2. Shoulder strap quick releases. The shoulder straps need quick releases, I was a bit shocked to find that they didn't have quick releases given the thoughtfulness of every other aspect of the pa...

200' rope, gear, helmet, and misc. stuff. All fits in it. Rugged. Heavy duty loops. Multiple adjustments for comfortable carry. Very happy with this pack.

Great size when going out with a group and there isn't a need to carry too many ropes. Fits well and does the job! Very durable. Loving it so far!

Great bag! Comfortable to wear. Like that the waist belt is removable. Had to do a lot of stemming and tight slots in first canyon I took it in. Removed bigger waist belt and it was so nice to not catch it on things. Great product!

SLOT makes amazing bags. I have been using them for several years now and I recommend them for anyone doing canyoneering. They are the perfect size. They hold up to the elements and scraping through slots. They are comfortable and protect my gear.

Tried to email and ask if they were producing anymore for 2025. Didn't hear back so I bought one of the last 22' packs. These packs are awesome. I'll add my own larger grommets.

Great, smaller pack. Well built, durable with some gear loops and drain holes. I expect this small pack to hold up well in the canyons and it's compact size makes it easy to carry and use for lighter day trips

love how it can attach to most slot bags I dont have the tower pack, but I do still use it with my canyon pack have used it both to carry rope, as intended, but also just for travel canyon+rope bag ~= a normal personal item for flights, which is super nice, I can keep what I want with me in the flat canyon pack, and throw all my clothes in the tower bag- also nice to have the extra fabric to lay my clothes out on in case I need to look for something in the airport/outside/other surface I would...

Went for the '22 model as I preferred its colour way. I have previously used Goruck GR1 and GR2, and while they are nice, put any weight in them and your hands and shoulders go number. They also look like a melted candle once they have some gear in them. The Canyon 26L however is taught, retaining its slim shape, with a stiff back that sits high and tight. The straps are super comfortable, and there are just so many little details that the website doesn't even mention. All the extra loops and ...

With over 60 years experience as a hiker and climber I know great gear when I see it and this SLOT 38 L is great. Very clever design, really tough materials and excellent construction. All the details have been thought out and well executed.

Very well made pack. The material and stitching is top notch. Did 3 desert canyons so far with this pack and another slot pack and both held up very well. I like that it does not have extra pockets or straps or unnecessary compartments.

Returing from SLC, I decided to use my SLOT pack as my carry-on, containing my equipment and sundries. Got many - and I mean MANY - compliments about how sharp the pack looked while in the Delta waiting area. However, upon arrival, I hoisted the loaded pack to my shoulders and thought I was jerking on the shoulder adjustment strap. It was the Sternum Starp instead; and my jerk broke the part that attaches it to the shoulder strap. Ordered this replacement and was pleasantly surprised how fast...

Really awesome sun hoodie. I have been trying out lots for different brands for sun hoodies as they have become my favorite for hiking. I would place the slot hoodie in the top 5 of the 15 brands I have tried.

Nice to quickly detach the wetsuit and hide on the trail or leave in the truck if not needing to carry the entire hike. Drains water quickly and also keeps the water and sand out of the main pack.

When it comes to technical outdoor gear, I always do a lot of research and apply a matrix of criteria before deciding on a purchase. I am especially prone to not obtain products that "everyone else" is using. I like to walk the road less traveled and to be an influencER not an influencEE. I chose the SLOT Rapide 38 first because of the capacity. I don't schlep a lot of gear; I usually carry 2 pairs of shoes, a harness and a 70M rope. I also liked the SLOT's obvious rugged construction, purpo...

So pleased with these backpacks. We took them over to Switzerland and Italy for some canyoning in the Ticino region. By far the best canyoning backpack on the market.

Love the Slot backpacks in go Canyoneering at least once a month in Southern Utah and have gone through tons of backpacks. The sandstone scrapes holes in both cheap and expensive bags alike. Finally I started using slot backpacks—totally comfortable, don’t ruin when stemming and scraping on slot canyon walls, and perfect size for rope and gear for a slot canyon day. Highly recommend if you don’t want to keep spending money on backpacks. Also love how they connect to the rope bags. Easy to attach...

it’s so good for canyoneering. if you don’t buy it you’re stupid. companies such as patagonia, black diamond, petzl etc. don’t make a better canyoneering/waterproof climbing pack. slot is truly the best. really, the best part of this pack is the built in cousy so i can slam beers while i repel fat ass walls.

I’m living in Southern Utah and I have already taken my rapide down a handful of canyons. It’s bomber! Plenty overbuilt and functional. I’m using the rope system and so far I’m quite happy.

You need this sun hoody. In December 2022 I paired this hoody with the Slot Cataract shorts for part of a 6 day trail hike on the Florida Coast to Coast trial. I was reluctant to purchase it because I normally wear ultralight merino, but I was impressed with the quality of the shorts and decided to add a hoody to my wardrobe. That was a good move. The hoody itself is heavier than other sun shirts, but the ventilation was superb on a beach side 20 miler in direct sun/sand in 80 degree heat. Movi...

Super comfortable and bomb proof so far. The waist belt is actually useful for carrying a load and the straps extend long enough to fit a taller person. I have gone through (put holes in) 2 Imlay packs in the last few years. and was previously using a super bombproof Edelrid pack. The Edelrid has too short a torso and no waist strap to speak of. I love this pack

Got this pack to use as a day pack. I guide in and around Zion National Park and I wanted a tough bag to take on my day hikes and day adventures. I’ve put over 30 miles on this pack so far and I really like it. I do wish that it had a padded hip belt but it’s not necessary as I don’t usually have more than 15 lbs in it. The all the fabric is burly and the zippers are very robust. I can see this pack lasting me for many years to come. So far I’m impressed and would recommend it.

Love it! Definitely the best way to carry your wetsuit. Doesn't take any space in your already full pack. It does, however, make it hard to open and close your pack while it's attached. Still highly recommend

Service delivery was excellent. It fits well on a harness and easy to adjust to make it fit a harness. Nalgene is well protected and keeps contents cool for some time. This will always be on my climbing trips

This is my favorite hoody I've ever owned for three reasons: 1) thoughtfully rugged design, including unobtrusive zips on the kangaroo pocket that turn it from a glorified handwarmer into a reliable storage area and fabric webbing that makes the buttons almost invulnerable 2) excellent cut, with long, just snug enough sleeves to keep them out of the way and covering your wrists in a wide range of movements and enough body room to accommodate my burly torso 3) a heavy-duty fleece that is dense en...

I used the 38L for the first time. It held my extra gear and rope and was surprisingly comfortable to hike with. I tried it over the harness and still felt good. I'm waiting for the first full canyon approach and run to get an overall feel for the pack. I'm very happy with my purchase and the overall quality of the pack.
