The hive boxes and frames were very easy to build but we did have 2 of the top screws split the very top thin wood on the hive boxes and one frame chipped off some wood when nailing the side after gluing. I don't fault the products for these splits. There were knots where the wood split on the boxes and I can't complain about one frame chipping out of 60. These hives assemble well, although know that there is some screwing/nailing/gluing involved so you have to be comfortable with some amount of "woodworking" (although it's just assembly, not construction). Note: Cardboard boxes are only so strong; both of my larger packages (two deeps and a medium honey super in each box) were damaged upon arrival simply due to the size & weight of the boxes. Frames and boxes went together very well. There were two box sides that had cracked and nearly broke off at the dovetail. However, I had wood glue and some wood clamps handy that allowed for a fast and easy fix. Overall the frames are of high quality and all sit flush and square. Over the past couple years I've bought a lot of beekeeping supplies from a lot of places. The price is what got me first. Usually boxes are going for $20 a piece and I have to prime and paint them.
