The instructions came in japanese instead of english, which has made things somewhat challenging. I don't know if this was an oversight or all instructions are given in japanese. Fortunately the diagrams are clearly drawn, which has helped immensely. The parts are well cut. So far it has been a relaxing experience. Currently, I am about half done.

So beautiful and fun to put together. Make sure you wax and sand the gears thoroughly. Sometimes the gears stick and you don’t have a smooth motion. Would not use for everyday use, but it is beautiful as a decoration.
